The bathrooms are in very poor condition; this is definitely not worthy of a 4-star rating.

The restrooms and showers are really not very clean, and there are cobwebs in the showers and on the ceiling. It's really unpleasant.

The campground is in a great location, on the banks of the Dordogne and close to many sites and villages worth visiting. The campground is very shady. Aurélien and his team always respond to our requests with a smile. However, the restrooms are dirty, old, and poorly lit.

I’m appealing to the campground owners: Invest in renovating the restrooms and give your staff the resources they need to clean them properly; just leaving them a broom and a scrap of a mop is really not good enough on your part. A thorough cleaning at the start of the season would show respect for the vacationers; at the very least, it would remove the cobwebs...

Another great stay at this beautiful campground. The only downside was the lack of activities—one per week is very, very few. On the other hand, kudos to Aurélien (our neighbor 😉), who does the best he can with the resources he’s given. The pool was very nice. I don’t know if we’ll come back to this campground a third time, but I’ll have very fond memories of it.

Lack of activities; the campground's outdoor maintenance leaves much to be desired. The price is that of a 4-star campground, but it falls far short of offering the amenities of a 4-star campground.

We appreciated the warm welcome, being able to choose our site, the shaded spot, the proximity to the river, and the pool. The kids enjoyed playing soccer (there was a great atmosphere on the field) and riding bikes on the campground grounds.

Located on the banks of the Dordogne, there is access to the river for swimming and launching paddle boards. The site's swimming pool is is excellent for children, and the bar is reasonably priced, with entertainment some evenings which does not go on too long. There are two multi-sex toilet blocks, well maintained and cleaned regularly. There are no shops nearby., the nearest being some 20 minute's drive away. The nearby village is fascinating, but very "touristy."

Instal urinals away from the ladies sanitary area. Otherwise, leave it as it is, - it's just what we like.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the equipment and facilities leave much to be desired. Cobwebs everywhere, shower hooks not replaced, faulty lighting, cold water for washing dishes... Two out of four showers are out of order in one bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay at Camping de l'Eau Vive—it was peaceful and relaxing. The campground is surrounded by trees, and our site was very pleasant and full of flowers. The river at the end of the campground and the pool are both great places to swim and play with the kids.

It's difficult to go for a walk in the immediate vicinity; the campground exit leads directly onto a road with no shoulders. Wi-Fi is practically nonexistent, and there's no cell service. The restrooms are a bit cramped. Not all campsites have electrical outlets.

We spent a week at this campground in the heart of nature, right on the river. It was perfect for relaxing and very well located for the many nearby attractions. The staff was friendly, and the pool was nice.

There are no longer any kayak rentals on site, and the river beach isn't really developed.

A shaded campsite with clean restroom facilities nearby and a beautiful little town within walking and biking distance. There are lovely bike rides in all directions, such as to Digoin.

The reception desk was closed when we arrived, so our check-in was a bit unusual. It was nice that we could choose our own spot, that the spots were fairly spacious, and that there were plenty of shaded areas. The little beach on the Dordogne was okay; there were a few lounge chairs we could use. The pool was great. Activities were organized at the campground. You could order baguettes and croissants for the next day.

The reception desk was closed when we arrived. So we just explored the grounds. We received little to no information about the facilities, etc., until someone finally welcomed us. The condition of the restrooms could definitely be improved. The same goes for the cleaning, and it’s a shame we had to bring our own toilet paper. There wasn’t really any hot water for washing dishes either. There was a washing machine, but the dryer was broken. The campground is located on a road where cars drive at 90 km per hour, so it’s not really possible to leave the campground on foot.
