"Good transit campsite - Location: Close to the A75 highway (not audible), the campsite is beautifully situated outside Lempdes on a river and is easy to reach by car and trailer via a wide road. A pedestrian bridge takes you to Lempdes on the other bank in 5 minutes on foot. Highly recommended as a transit CP. Reception/staff: The reception is manned at different times. The staff, friendly, helpful and uncomplicated, some French would be an advantage (English is also possible). Sanitary: The facility is a little outdated but clean. Pitch: It is divided into differently sized parceled out areas with electricity connection, fresh water points are sufficiently distributed on the pitch. Due to old trees, satellite reception is not guaranteed on every pitch, so you should check this in advance. The driveways on the site are sufficiently wide and easy to drive on with a trailer. Good mosquito protection is an advantage, at our time of travel (September) we were literally attacked by mosquitoes between 17:00 and 19:00, we even rubbed our Labrador with repellent "he really liked it!". Dogs: Are allowed on the campsite. As already mentioned, there is a river at the campsite, which is a great way for our friends in their fur coats to cool off on hot days. Leisure: Hiking, fishing and cycling are all possible here, and there is a small pool on the campsite. Shopping: In Lempdes itself there is the possibility of shopping for daily needs. Supermarkets are only a few kilometers away.
