Spacious sites; the friendly hostess speaks only French, but this is well handled with a few translated instruction cards. There’s an on-site restaurant with a small menu. In the morning, you can pick up fresh-baked bread that you ordered the day before. The restrooms are clean but somewhat outdated.

Bathroom Renovation

Camping de la Pelouse is a rural campsite near a small village. It is surrounded on 3 sides by a river below the plateau. The pitches are level and clearly marked, some but not all are shaded. There is a small open swimming pool and a shop selling basic items. Bread & croissants can be ordered. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food was well presented and tasty. The facilities were always clean during our stay. We enjoyed our stay here.

You could choose your own spot. When we left, I had some trouble with the trailer. They were so helpful there—it was really great. A wonderfully laid-back campground. I stayed there in June 2026

Separate sheets for two beds pushed together.

A small, pleasant, and quiet family campground. Set in a lush, green setting that’s perfect for recharging. The pool is small but big enough to have a good time.

We had a wonderful stay with my in-laws. The RV site was clean and close to the restrooms, just as we’d requested, since we had someone with limited mobility traveling with us.

Leave a few lights on dimly at night. Because it's hard to get to the restrooms without any light.

Nice and clean restrooms.

A small, family-friendly campground. Very well maintained. Great hospitality. Nice pool—just right for a few days. Keep up the good work!
