Actually nice, small place without hustle and bustle, but bad sanitary...
The easily manageable site is located in the municipality of Sauvian and is approx. 7 km from the sea. The pitches are all generously sized, on grass, parceled out with hedges and equipped with one or two trees for shade - very well done! There are also numerous (rental) 'mobile homes', as on most of... the French campsites on the coast. There is a small pool with sun loungers and a small drinks bar and in summer there is also 'entertainment' on offer, also typical of French campsites :-)
The biggest weakness, however, are the sanitary facilities, which are really only for hard-boiled (or self-sufficient) campers: small, cramped, too few, dirty! You're miles away from toilet seats or even paper here. It's a shame, because in our opinion the site has everything you need in the low season and is often what makes small French sites so charming.
In the off-season, which here, as on many French campsites, ends on 30. As on many French campsites, the low season ends on 30.09., we paid €22 per night. We've also paid that in high season for a pitch with decent sanitary facilities...
