Beautiful by the lake
A tightly run small course that is firmly in Dutch and Bavarian-Swabian hands. Nevertheless, it was nice. Unfortunately no restaurant on site, but a nice little pebble beach with a wonderful view of the mountains. Predominantly an older crowd.

We looked at a few sites in Domaso and Dongo, including a very well rated site in the neighborhood in Dongo.La Breva was the best for us. Family-run site, very nice family who run it, well-kept and clean facilities, pitches not as small as on the neighboring sites, very clean sanitary facilities. The... boss cleans herself. Sanitary is not so big, but despite full occupancy never bottlenecks. Always clean and beautiful beach area.church bells can be heard. Didn't bother us afterwards. The place is very quiet at night and the morning panorama on the beach is unique. Dongo is a small town where you can get everything. Very nice neighboring town Grevedona can be reached by bike along the lake. Very nice also Menaggio 15 minutes by car. Very variable booking and length of stay possible, extremely good price-performance ratio.

Very small campsite overlooking a beach on Lac de Come. Very quiet, no entertainment. New, very clean toilets and showers. Hot showers at a cost of 1 euro, but very affordable per night. The kids loved it.

Beautiful, quiet place right on the lake. Also ideal for camping. Bread rolls available on site, but also in the village. Ideal for children to play by the water! Friendly and helpful owners.
