The restrooms and showers are modern and clean. It's wonderful to wash your dishes here. The street and the train right next door are hardly a bother at all.

I paid for two nights and
mentioned that I might
stay through Friday into Saturday. “No problem,”
the lady told me. “Oh,” I thought,
“they’re really nice here.” On Friday, I let them know
that I wanted to stay longer. I paid 66 euros for
two nights. For the third night, she wanted
35 euros—as a SINGLE... BOOKING.
Really?? Do they really have to pull tricks like that?
Fairness would be appropriate. For your information, 3
nights together would have been 81 euros; I ended up paying
100 euros.

Price-Performance Ratio Is Off
A flat rate of €10 for electricity per night! RV for 2 people and 1 dog: €63.
I wanted to take a shower in the evening, but unfortunately couldn't because the shower cost an extra €1
for 3 minutes, and I didn't have any euro coins.

Showers (3), toilets (3), laundry room all in one small room,
For a site that runs directly along the main road, very noisy during the day due to traffic, camping is no fun. Similar to a highway

Very clean place, small and manageable. Centrally located in Kaltenbach. Ski bus stops directly in front of the campsite.

You can walk to the Hochzillertal ski area (but the path is further than 300m!!!)

No sauna, although described as such. Carelessly run property. Cranky receptionist.
Camping in Kaltenbach
The lady at reception is short-tempered and snippy. You got the impression that she wanted to leave very quickly after a brief greeting: parking space shown and gone. Not a friendly word, no explanations about the location etc. The stated sauna does not exist (we had booked this campsite specifically... because of the sauna). The ski boot dryer was not turned on (to save money???). The information 300 m to the gondolas to Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal is not correct. What the operator can score points with are the many, many, many A4 black printed prohibition and information signs. Of course, the view of the mountains from the campsite is beautiful.

Well located campsite for winter sports
We can only give a rating for winter camping, we have not tested it in summer. Nice centrally located campsite for winter sports enthusiasts with a bus stop opposite the site. The operator was very friendly and allocated us a pitch without reservation according to the size of the caravan and the possibilities.... The conditions are not so easy in winter due to snow, ice and match. The sanitary facilities are clean but perhaps a little small when the site is full. It is nice that you can use the heated ski room free of charge. Bread roll service is available on site but nothing more. There is a garage opposite the campsite, which I unfortunately had to use, which was of course convenient.

nice little campground with nice plumbing
Quiet campground with few extra things. Along railroad tracks, but train only runs during the day. Nice sanitary facilities behind door with code. Central in Zillertal Ideal for excursions.
