Thank you for highlighting the quality of our campsites and our ideal setting for cycling.
Regarding your arrival, it’s important to put certain details into context. As clearly stated when you made your reservation, check-in begins at 2:00 p.m. At 11:30 a.m., we’re still handling the morning... check-outs and preparing the site. Furthermore, as you may have noticed, our access roads are too narrow for caravans to pass each other. Therefore, the morning is dedicated to check-outs until 12:00 PM. Additionally, check-in does not take “10 seconds or even 10 minutes” at our campground, as you were able to observe: we take the time to welcome each guest, explain how the campground works, suggest local attractions, provide you with maps for your bike tours, and personally assist you in choosing your site from among several options.
This level of service and availability requires strict organization of our schedule. Adhering to the set times is simply essential for us to be able to offer this same level of attention to all our guests, including you when you check in.
According to our guests, our friendliness and hospitality are of the highest quality, as are the cleanliness and comfort of our facilities and our commitment to environmental sustainability.
We are therefore very sorry that you were disappointed upon your arrival.

We are indeed rated 3* based on the size of our campsites, the quality and number of our restroom facilities, the cleanliness of the campground, and our amenities—such as the relaxation area with a sauna and hot tub, our game room with a pool table, foosball, and... library, toys for children and babies, our large playground, the fact that we also speak English and Spanish, our convenience store, and our bread and ice service in July and August...
We do offer two Wi-Fi zones, though we’re unable to provide better coverage. After several years of trying to improve this situation by consulting with various companies, we’ve learned that it would require cutting down many trees on our campground and installing numerous cell towers (which emit a lot of radiation). We prefer to keep our trees so you can enjoy them and their shade. We also want to limit electromagnetic radiation on our campground so you can recharge your batteries surrounded by trees, birds, butterflies… In short, a connection to nature for a truly relaxing vacation.
