Still a... great place overall. The staff are helpful and nice.
Just one small but. We were there before the national holiday and everything was great. Then came the long weekend and there were lots of C campers (corona campers) who behaved accordingly. The sanitary facilities weren't so clean, although the cleaners went through several times a day. There are always people who behave quite badly. It would be nice if people left the toilets and showers as clean as they found them. It's not the operator's fault, but every camper should take a good look at themselves.
When the campsite is full to capacity, there are too few toilets and showers at the back of the site. In my opinion, another thing that is not so great is that there is a small space in front of the men's toilet opposite the washbasin for disposing of the chemical toilet, which could have been done differently during construction or planning.
About the pitch:
Partly very small plots and sloping pitches, every cm is used (cuddle camping). With a larger caravan you have problems parking it, let alone accommodating the vehicle on the pitch.
We will come back at some point, but only if the site is not fully booked.

Super layout, very clean, modern sanitary facilities, catering with farmers' market with the best regional bread rolls and sausages and everything else you need. There is a small store, a bakery and two restaurants directly on the campsite.NegativnoElectricity is charged separately (€ 0.80 per kWh). The reception was very warm and professional - you immediately feel welcome.
However, we were particularly impressed by the sanitary facilities: absolutely clean, modern and very well maintained. The showers are spacious, the water is always hot and everything looks new and hygienic. It really is a pleasure to use these facilities!

Staff always available.NegativnoThere is nothing, or nothing that the campsite can do anything about. Only the fellow campers: like everywhere else, there is a squeegee in the showers so that you can leave your shower cubicle clean afterwards. Very few campers can do that! What a pity!Any time againIf you book early for the high season, you can also get the pitch you want. The pitches are big enough if you stand and set up properly! The service with the pallets for bad weather is great! Of course you have to pay for them (€4/pallet + €2/pallet deposit) but I think that's ok - better than having... a wet awning floor all the time! And if guests think they can just take the pallets without paying, we think that's cheeky. Then everyone is surprised when this service is no longer offered!
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. The Stadl and the restaurant are highly recommended! The food was great and freshly prepared.

Unfortunately, almost everyone had a mutt with them, these critters barked and howled all day long. But the worst thing is that they piss and poop everywhere ..... . Many pooch owners don't care and leave everything lying around or throw the bags... in the hedge.
At this time of year with normal white snow (now all yellow from the dog urine) quite clearly visible.
However, it's not the dogs' fault, it's the dog owners who are so beklopten that cause trouble because almost all of them are unreasonable.
I hope that every dog owner gets a good shitting in their motorhome/caravan.

Restaurant... on site: very tasty food, good value for money
Our pitch was a bit further away from the main building, but had the advantage that we didn't hear anything about the events in the Stadl. Generally nice and quiet, may be different in high season.
Unfortunately, Frau Holle has switched to waterbeds, but nobody has any influence on that. Nevertheless, we were able to unpack our bikes at least one day and enjoy the landscape on the good paths around Forggensee and Bannwaldsee.

They couldn't help us with that either. The reception was very friendly and check-in was straightforward. There are two restaurants on site, one of which is always open. A small store has everything you need,... including delicious bread rolls.
The bus right outside the front door takes you quickly and free of charge to the royal castles or to Schwangau or Füssen.
The free W-Lan is easy to receive.
Above all, we would like to emphasize the great and very clean sanitary facilities.

An ideal starting point for activities around Füssen. It is located directly on a main road, which didn't bother us as we didn't notice it directly on the lake.
With the guest card you can use the bus free... of charge, there is a bus stop right next to the campsite and from there you can easily get to the Tegelberg, the royal castles and Füssen itself.
Due to the size of the site, there is a lot of arrival and departure traffic, but this didn't bother us.
We were greeted very nicely on the day of arrival and guided to the pitch by a member of staff. It was very spacious and had a gravel surface, which we really liked.
The sanitary facilities were always clean. One sanitary building is a bit outdated, which didn't bother us as it was always clean!
We really liked the CamperClean, which is included in the price.
We really liked the restaurant and the barn with (self-service) pizzeria. You shouldn't expect gourmet cuisine, but it is definitely recommended.
We found it a disadvantage that there is no "waiting area" for the vehicles at the reception and at the disposal station for motorhomes, which sometimes led to small traffic jams :)
We also had the feeling that many cyclists/walkers didn't follow the signposted route around the site, but walked "across" the site. Perhaps the existing gates/doors could be equipped with access codes/keys so that only the campers themselves have access.
All in all, the site is definitely recommended, everything was just right for us! Fully booked, lots of changes and lots of traffic. Reservations are compulsory. The campsite is the opposite of informal, and the first loudspeaker announcement with any kind of advertising makes you wonder. The sanitary facilities are okay, but above all numerous... and clean. What annoys us is the pricing. A €15 reservation fee and a €2 provision fee for electricity on top of the already outrageous 80ct/KWh are simply impudent and cheeky.
