There is direct access to the lake and the sanitary facilities are relatively clean.

The access and exit roads are very narrow and blocked with parking. The beach is very stony and the jetty is dilapidated and without a ladder into the lake - so it has no function. The mini-market has a feast and only sells snacks and soft drinks.

We had 6 days to use this great campsite. We stood 2 spots from the restaurant and the lake. Restaurant you can eat delicious food overlooking the lake. Toilet building was renovated and looked super clean. Only the shower you had to pay with 0.50 cents for 3.5 minutes. The campsite owners were there daily. We were kindly helped. When we could not get a cab back after a day in Rome, the camping boss came to pick us up personally with a friendly smile, top service! We definitely recommend this campsite

Beautiful spacious sites. We had spot with four trees and lots of shade. Lovely with temperatures over 30 degrees. Beautiful lake with crystal clear water. Great for supping, canoeing, sailing and swimming. And lots of nice trips nearby. Rome and Ostia are highly recommended

Washrooms with sink to wash privately are not there. We had private bathroom facilities so we did not miss this.

Clean the sanitary facilities more often and earlier , in the morning at 9 o'clock there was still no cleaning while there were large groups of youth camped on the site ... also it should then once more often. The plumbing was really dirty! At the lake also a lot of residual waste and very dated. Restaurant also dated and unstructured.

You feel welcome at this quiet campground on a beautiful large lake where we enjoyed swimming several times. We parked our caravan under some trees which gave us excellent shade. A trip to Rome takes about 1 hour by train. This is easy to do.

Transportation from the Azzuro campground to Brachiano could be improved. The City buses run 8 times a day. The last one leaves again from Barrachio to the campsite at 6:10 pm. If you are not on time you can take a cab. You have to book these in advance. If it is not there you can hardly get in touch with them. You will then have to descend along a dark "dangerous" road to the campsite. Then two kilometers is very far. This is really a point for the campsite to improve.

A dedicated area for camping , not in between permanent pitches. With large groups of family members. Our welcome by reception was extremely frosty, luckily a younger lady was on the following day .
