Simple, archaic sanitary facilities
Nice place with simple facilities
We only stayed at this campsite for a few days. It is located almost directly on the outskirts of the village of Murille de Gallegos in an olive grove. The pitches are beautifully situated between the olive trees and large enough for a pleasant stay. They are very flat (in the mountains!). The sanitary... facilities are designed by the owners themselves. The washbasins and sinks are made of concrete. It is advantageous to use your own washing-up bowls. The toilets are okay, even if the flush tanks are slow to refill. The showers are small and do not have a shelf for clothes. Hot water is a long time coming. The sanitary block is draughty, which was not particularly pleasant during our stay at the end of April. Bread and groceries are provided by a small bakery nearby and a small grocery store with a small basic range (note opening times). The restaurant on the site is really good! The site is certainly very good for "nature-loving" campers. It is also well located for hiking or kayaking/rafting groups. Activities of this kind are offered/organized by the operators.
