One reason for this is that the owner gave us very friendly instructions. On the other hand, it should be noted that the pitches are a good size. The water point was also close by. The gray water disposal was easily accessible for us (caravan with integrated waste water tank).
The fact that there is no bread roll service is bearable. No infrastructure, no bread roll service.
Are you passing through and need a place to stay for one night? Give Greifswald a wide berth, you won't find anything here. Even in an emergency, the campsite will not accept anyone for one... night (we experienced this ourselves, a cyclist who was visibly exhausted in the rain was sent on his way).
Huge tent meadow may not be occupied due to the threat of punishment by the municipality!
All entrances to the campsite can only be accessed with a key, so if you like security, you're in good hands here.Samodejno prevedeno.

In the low season, the site was not very busy and there were no bottlenecks in the sanitary facilities. It was very clean. Carpets are not allowed on the pitches, which... means that you stand on attractive green grass.
There are several fish restaurants to choose from in nearby Wieck.

In spring and fall. We are looking for peace and relaxation and that's exactly what we find here. The nice and very friendly operators of this beautiful campsite run their place excellently. Everything is neat and clean. There are clear rules on the site and because everyone... abides by them, it is very pleasant to be together on the site.
The site is fenced in and locked overnight.
The sanitary facilities are modern and always clean, the pitches are spacious and the lawn is beautifully maintained. Access to the beach is possible via a gate for which you need a key, which you can obtain from reception for a deposit. There are no shops or restaurants on the site, but both are within easy walking distance in Eldena and Wieck. If you have any questions, just contact the manager, she will be happy to help. The showers and toilets are clean and well maintained. Washing machine and dryer are available. Even the supply and disposal areas are very well maintained. There are several fresh water points dotted around the... site. There is a path to the beach directly from the campsite. The cycle path runs right past the campsite and public transport is also right outside the door.
We had actually only planned to stay here for 3 nights, but due to the central location and the beauty of the site, we ended up staying 7 nights!!!!
And if we are ever in the area again we will come back!!!

The site is well run by nice operators (we can't understand the critical voices), fencing and lighting didn't bother us, on the contrary, we felt safe. The sanitary... facilities were great (we've never had such big showers!). We had a lovely pitch with quaint sheep in front of us. Wieck harbour is delightful, the fish on offer is great, Greifswald is a picture-book Hanseatic town. Well, the beach isn't that great, but
but we went to the seaside resorts on Rügen and Usedom. By bike you can quickly reach many sights, e.g. the city center and old town. The proximity to the beach is only about 500 meters, in the harbor area there are very good restaurants where you can enjoy fish dishes, pizza and many other culinary specialties. We have been spending our vacation on this site for many years. We have never had any problems here. Why? Because we stick to the rules! Especially this year in Corona times. For us it is understandable that the operator wants to know what... is going on on his site and who is staying there. Unannounced guests can quickly lead to the virus striking again.
And then? The end of the site! Site closed!
Still about the tent guests
It is written on the gates, blue on a black background, why there are only a few tent pitches available this year. The mayor of Greifswald has forbidden it. We don't like it either and think it's a shame when guests have to be turned away. But to judge from the outside that there is still room is presumptuous.
Once again, sticking to the rules costs nothing. And there won't be any problems. I have always found the operators to be polite and courteous. They always try to keep everything in order.

But that's all there is to it.NegativnoThe owners are very strange and are obviously not interested in having permanent campers. The owners have so many rules about rest periods, arrival times, no teenagers, etc. that I'm really surprised that people younger than 70 are allowed to stay there as visitors. We booked a permanent place for over €1000 (duration means until the end of the session) and were there for just two days within the two weeks. After another 1.5 weeks, my husband arrived with two older children aged 13 and was immediately turned away. Reason: Teenagers are not allowed to come because the old people want to have their peace and quiet, the arrival at 12 o'clock despite the absence of all neighbors and pouring rain was perceived as a big disturbance. Then there was the argument that the children were not registered but should have been because they use up resources. As a reminder, we (my husband, our little one and I) had only been there two days in three weeks and this time only my husband came with two 13-year-olds. So many resources?!? Really now? The owners are not friendly and you are only welcomed by the neighbors, who had no problem at all with our 13-year-olds, as the children were either swimming or playing on the computer. So stay away from this place - it will save you a lot of trouble and money.Retirement home under the open skyCan't recommend for a family! If you want to get the feeling of what it's like in a retirement home, this is the place for you. Unfriendly owners who are also in trouble with the town council, which has resulted in the playground being cordoned off and you can't use it. So a nice, cheerful place for relaxed camping with the family is somewhere else, but not on the Dänische Wiek.Samodejno prevedeno.

Jan S.avgust 2019Pozitivnobeautiful locationNegativnoNo serviceIf you are looking for peace and quiet and nothing else ...We had a week's vacation here in hot temperatures, which makes it not particularly nice when there is no shade. It's a long walk to the beach and then swimming is not possible because of the shallow water. It's not far to the Wiek by bike, but you should reserve the few places in the restaurant there,... there's nothing spontaneous about it.
I found the sanitary facilities, which consisted of containers, strange. Since the plazu was almost empty, the amount was sufficient. There wasn't even a bread roll service... What a shame!
It was also regulated a lot with bans ... I would say a bit out of date. The owners were quite sociable but hard to reach.
