It's a terraced campground, so be aware of the differences in elevation, but there are tiles available for anyone who doesn't have any with them.

On the way back, we made another pleasant stop in a beautiful area where we didn't have to cook. We really liked Hamelin with its charming old alleys and many cafés. A trip to Mount Klüt is also well worth it.

The campsites are on a slight slope, but that's no problem with the Moover. The walk to the otherwise good restroom facilities can be a bit long.

The restaurant right on the square serves excellent food at reasonable prices. The adjacent swimming pool is great.

The sanitary facilities are mostly clean. The area for the disabled is sufficient, somewhat small and, as an absolute advantage, can only be opened with a Euro key. This means that you don't need an extra key from the campsite, but can use your Euro key, which every wheelchair user has, to get into the toilet and sanitary area for the disabled without any problems. The virtual reception is very convenient and advanced for booking in advance. There are often large groups at the adjacent Alpha One campsite, but they were only a nuisance on one night when we were there. Otherwise, you hardly notice anything of the Alpha One campsite.

At weekends, when the site is busy, the wash house and toilets are very busy, especially when the wash house is closed to tourists or you follow the path to the wash house of the regular campers because the path to the wash house of the tourist pitch is not signposted. The path from the farthest tourist pitch to the upper wash house is quite long and you should have a bike or scooter. Even though the reception for pre-booking is quite convenient, it still needs a lot of improvement. On arrival you are quite overwhelmed as the office hours are quite short and then you can only get on by phone. There are several different telephone numbers that you can call and until you have found the right number, it is easy to get a little annoyed, but then it goes quickly. You can also see in many places that the staff and many little things are being cut back, which makes the overall picture a little negative.
Nice nature campsite, suitable for wheelchair users
The campsite at the Waldbad in Hameln is a nature campsite with lots of shady spots. From the campsite you can quickly walk into the forest and go hiking. There are many paths that are easy to walk on. Some of the paths are suitable for experienced wheelchair users. There are occasional inclines of 10%... and more to overcome and the paths have many stones, which are annoying for wheelchair users and cyclists. There are also many interesting excursion destinations in the surrounding area.

Camping guests have free access to a swimming pool that is 1.40m deep, approx. 25m long and 10m wide. It has a small non-swimmers' area and a separate paddling pool with an awning for toddlers.

A neat campground. Nice pool on the premises (it was still closed), beautiful location next to a meadow and a large forest. Very clean restrooms. Relaxed atmosphere.

We stayed at the campsite over Whitsun and liked it very much, it is a small but nice campsite. Everything is within walking distance, be it the toilet/showers or washing up area.

On the panorama meadow power distributor with Schuko plugs so that an adapter had to be used which then lay in the grass. Distance to the sanitary facilities.
More question marks than answers
Somewhat strange distribution of the pitches, by panoramic view I mean the "better" category and not on the last meadow with a 4-5 minute walk to the toilets. Some of the neighbors on the meadow saw it just like us and paid the full price .......... Has a taste.

Very nice family-run campsite
Hello...... due to the corona pandemic we went on vacation with our KIP caravan on the beautiful CP am Wald just outside Hameln.....
the short vacation at Easter '21 became a seasonal pitch and since October '21 even a permanent pitch.....
that says it all.... right?
Of course we will continue to travel with our KIP....

The place was ideal for us to visit Hameln. Quiet location without a lot of frills. However, the sanitary facilities are really not inviting, something should be done here. I wouldn't plan a longer stay here with the family as there aren't enough activities. But recommended for a quiet time.

Great campsite
Very clean and modern sanitary facilities. But especially in the main holiday season these could be too tight. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The pitch was very clean and surrounded by nature. There is a small, well-maintained outdoor pool right next to the campsite that can be visited... in summer. However, this is not included in the price. There is a supermarket for shopping not far from the campsite. All in all, a very nice campsite for an extended camping weekend. I would love to come back! :-)

Cozy place ideally suited for relaxing
It was very quiet at the start of the camping season. We can't say what it's like when the outdoor pool opens. The reception was very friendly and courteous even though we arrived at lunchtime. The sanitary facilities are quite new, absolutely clean and well maintained. The location is ideal for relaxing.... The bread roll service is very good and reasonably priced. The restaurant on site is also recommended. Unfortunately, we had to contend with mud on the otherwise well-maintained grass pitches due to previous heavy rainfall. The shopping facilities are unfortunately a bit far away, but Hameln's nice city center scores points.

Great little campsite
The campsite at the Waldbad has a great price/performance ratio. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained and the adjacent outdoor pool is great for long-distance swimmers. A simple, quiet campsite.

Ballermann feeling on vacation
We were only there for a short time until we decided to go to another campsite. The campsite is beautifully situated and has a swimming pool next door. Our problem that made us leave after only one night: The tent meadow is advertised. But is no longer part of it when people complain. Then it suddenly... has nothing more to do with the campsite. When we arrived there was already a group of children and young people there (about 100-150 kids). This has never bothered us as campers but this time it did. General campsite rules do not apply to the meadow which belongs to the campsite and is only a hedge wide next to it. Constant noise all day long. And I'm not talking about normal raving or anything like that, no no. You get that Ballermann feeling from around 9 o'clock. Loud Ballermann music. From 8 p.m. it really got going. Music and singing like at a festival (I'm not exaggerating at all). I like festivals but I would like to know if I am at one. No information about it either on the website or by phone. Music went on until about midnight. Then we thought we could finally sleep and tomorrow would be quiet. Nothing about 02:00 A mock robbery commando with alarm guns and light guns. My 3 year old daughter was sitting upright with us in the caravan. The next morning I asked several campers if I had to expect to continue to be exposed to an increased noise level. This was answered in the affirmative. My parents-in-law were there two days earlier and had a very high noise level there too. Probably not quite as extreme as on that day. Nevertheless, a barely acceptable noise startled to the owner and departure announced. Dismantled and quickly gone. We will certainly not come back. Especially since you deliberately let it happen and were not informed. They advertise with tranquility we got Ballermann Outside the vacations it can be that you have peace there.

Hello Mr. Landwehr! As you were only with us for one night, I would like to correct a few things: Yes, the campground is part of the campsite as described on our homepage. No, the kids are not animated "a la Ballermann". The one night you were with us, there was an unannounced "raid" on a tent camp.... Anyone who has been to a youth camp knows the custom of "stealing" a group's pennant ;-)
As a rule, our church youth groups are quiet and very disciplined. Many groups come to us regularly and there are clear rules. Unfortunately, in this case, we - and the youth who were robbed - had no notice of a planned "robbery". To apologize for the incident, our guests were invited to an open-air church service the next day. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to speak to you personally. We were only on the site for one night with the caravan. The operators are very nice and make everything possible. The sanitary facilities are clean. Otherwise it is a great terraced site. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you'll find it. The site is right on the edge of the forest. It is certainly... a little noisier when the weather is good and the swimming pool is full. However, it also closes in the evening. The site has a bread roll service, but these are "only" baked rolls. Shopping facilities are about 6 minutes away by car

Everything is great.
This was our second time at this campsite for the International Volkswagen Veterans Meeting in Hessisch Oldendorf. Everything went really well. From registration to departure. A back and forth regarding the number of people and vehicles from our side was "endured" with patience and always made possible. Even a "rush through" after 10 p.m. due to traffic jams was still made possible. Many thanks and see you in 2021.
