-1st sanitary facilities very old/simple, narrow toilet cubicles, hand wash basin once around the building. -2nd sanitary facilities ok - only 4 shower cubicles for women and 4 for men for the size of the pitch - was enough for us as the pitch was about 1/4 full.
Quiet place close to nature
The site is beautifully nestled in the natural surroundings of the Lüneburg Heath. It has a small store where you can pay by card at the self-service terminal. Bread roll service is available. The pizza oven, where you can make your own pizza, is highly recommended. There is also a barbecue station and... a fire bowl for stick bread.
We didn't like the front sanitary facilities. It was kept very simple. The second sanitary facility is okay. The shower cubicles could be a bit cramped if the campsite is full.
The staff here are super friendly and helpful. Dogs are very welcome. Small dog run available, the path into the forest is close by. Don't forget tick tweezers 😉
Otherwise, the site offers beautiful pitches, small and large, as well as a meadow if you prefer to stand in the open.

Sanitary too small at full capacity
I'm undecided.....
The reception is very friendly. There is a small store (unfortunately closed from 8pm), payment is by card. The pitches are nice and big and the sanitary block at the back is great. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty full. It was quite noisy at full capacity and there were clearly far too many dogs.... The sanitary facilities turned out to be too small for the number of people. I deliberately didn't use the small, front sanitary facilities (without showers). It didn't appeal to me from the outside. For young families, everything is certainly very nice and great for small children. I'm a bit unsure for senior citizens.... We traveled 2 days earlier, as feared, we didn't get any money back, but we were allowed to choose our provisions for free. A nice train. Conclusion: Nice, but too expensive for us.

An absolutely beautiful campsite. Can hardly wait to go again.
The location of the pitches is super beautiful, in the middle of nature. You can hear the birds chirping and the frogs croaking. Very friendly and helpful staff.
The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy. Everything was simply perfect.

- very green and close to nature (many trees, bushes etc.) - modern and new washrooms - stylish - great camping store and lounge - plenty of space on the pitches - good starting point for outdoor activities (cycling, canoeing, hiking) - quiet

- little "entertainment" in the immediate vicinity (few restaurants, no stores etc. - if you need them) - no official bathing facilities nearby (but lakes where swimming is tolerated (?))
Beautiful campsite in great nature
See advantages and disadvantages :-) - Highly recommended for people looking for peace and outdoor activities. Less for people who are looking for some hustle and bustle/entertainment.

Very friendly staff and very good advice. The sanitary facilities are also very clean and well maintained. The whole site also has a good WLAN network. So we had nothing to complain about.
