Beautifully situated on the Carwitzer See with a fantastic bathing area! Here you have everything you need to feel good! For the little ones there is a beautifully landscaped playground and volleyball court for the big ones! Table tennis tables and meadow to relax... in good weather! Sanitary facilities are always clean and there are plenty of showers and toilets! The campsite has been run by a new operator since this year! Very familiar and always friendly! In Carwitz you can eat very well or enjoy live music! There is also a small puppet theater for children in the village and regularly performs beautiful children's programs in summer! Fresh bread rolls are available every morning in the village in a small
store.

There is a daily bread roll service and you can also get fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables and everyday necessities for emergencies at the registration desk. You can hire boats there directly to explore Lake Carwitz and other lakes.... Carwitz also has a historical background and is an "artists' village" for us, also in terms of the food. Delicious!
If you don't want to move your car, you can go on great hikes and bike tours there. There is a shepherd's store nearby on the Schmal Luzin, which is definitely worth a visit.

Franz S.september 2021Pozitivno-Very friendly and helpful team -Absolute peace and relaxation -Direct access to the lake -Wonderful place with great leisure facilities -Gastronomy in the immediate vicinity -etc...Negativno-NoneCamping Carwitz simply a dreamWe have been coming back to Carwitz for several years and always feel very, very comfortable there.
It has everything I could wish for on vacation, peace and relaxation, direct access to the water, boat and canoe rental, opportunities for swimming and bathing, wonderful mountain bike trails in the beautiful... forests all around, restaurants and much more.
The site is beautifully laid out and divided. There are also lots of play facilities for children.

The location is fantastic and the opportunities for water hikers are ideal. You can reach several lakes from the site, either directly or by portage.
The staff are friendly and helpful, the sanitary facilities are fine and a morning bread roll service ensures a good start to a great day.

Incidentally, none of us are so dirty that we can't get... more than clean in four minutes in the shower. I have long hair and can easily apply and rinse out 2 x shampoo and 2 x conditioner in four minutes! The grounds are well maintained and the sanitary facilities are very clean. There is a pitch for every taste (near the water, full sun, partial shade, terraces). The bakery van is open from... 7:30-10:00 and there are all the essentials at the registration desk. - Olaf E.avgust 2015DisappointedWe wanted to spend our annual vacation here this summer. We knew the site and the area from several previous stays here, which were always very nice. After making a reservation by phone, we were allocated the worst pitch on site, which was also occupied (right next to the bakery trolley and barrier between... 2 main paths) and our request to be given a smaller, empty pitch (of which at least 2 were still empty at the time) didn't help. In order not to spoil our vacation, we unfortunately had to leave again, which was only greeted with a tired smile. - Iris S.avgust 2013Beautifully maintained site right on the lake. From there you can easily go on excursions by bike, canoe or on foot. Lots of beautiful, peaceful nature with super clear lakes. A bakery cart at the entrance provides fresh bread rolls and other small items for breakfast. Late risers can also get bread... rolls from a nearby bakery. The reception is also very friendly and helpful. For example, we were provided with a longer power cable free of charge. - Ina M.maj 2013We stayed at the campsite as a family at Whitsun and were totally thrilled. Great location right on the lake, great bathing spot on the clear Carwitzer See. The welcome by Mrs. Rost at the reception left us with the impression that we were very welcome as guests, despite the many arrivals on that day.... We were very pleased that the sanitary block was always very clean and this at any time of day and on such holiday weekends when the campsite is fully booked to the last pitch. Hats off and respect to the staff, who always tried to keep everything in order. Anyone who talks about a large number of showers and possible noise on the site should perhaps not travel at Whitsun or Ascension Day. You have to expect that in any part of Germany. We were very pleased with the kindness of Mr. Rost (senior), who helped us to get the water out of the boat and dry our things after our involuntary bathing with the kayak :-). We also found the cooperation between the Rost family and a restaurant in Carwitz great, who even reserved a table for us at 9.30 pm and where we were able to get a warm meal... which was unfortunately not a matter of course given the large number of restaurants in the town.... In short, a super short vacation with great weather, clear lakes, friendliness and cordiality... Keep up the good work - we look forward to August and the Bäkfest!!!!!
