Nice pool and a magnificent view of the lake beach. Clean restrooms; generally quiet. There’s a store that’s open late.
Negativno
Blue light in the restrooms.
A beautiful campground on the lake
The campground is in a great location, but there's no evening entertainment. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Good location
We have stayed at this campsite several times, usually for 1-2 nights. The location is good, you can easily get to Castiglione on foot. The food is also good. The sanitary facilities are partly new and partly older, but always clean.

Place directly on the lake.

Sanitary a bit strange and few toilets and showers.
Beautiful place by the lake
Large, quiet site with various pitches, some directly on the lake. Partly sunny, partly in the shade. Large stock of trees.
The restaurant had unfortunately already closed at the end of September. Bread roll service in the small shop/bar.
Supermarkets for shopping nearby.
The old town with castle is easy to reach on foot or by bike. Numerous restaurants.

Very good location below the town, small bar with mini market and reasonable prices. Pitch on the lake with a great view, toilet and shower simple but clean and well maintained. Quiet location, cycle path around the lake about 60km with the possibility to come back by ferry from about 25km. Very nice operators, speak English.
Negativno
Power supply requires a long cable from many places.

Nice place
We were there for 2 nights at the beginning of September. At that time it was already quite empty and you had a free choice of pitch. The site is right on the lake. This year, however, there was very little water and the shore was accordingly. The site operators are very friendly and helpful. You get fresh bread rolls in the morning. The sanitary facilities are clean and in good order. Castiglione is within walking distance, as are the shops.

"Children and dogs". For others, of course, these are not disadvantages
Nice place
Stayed here at the end of our trip to Tuscany. Very nice and clean place. The many children and dogs were a bit annoying for us. Also very nice place within walking distance. The site is very popular. Now fully booked for Easter.

Great view
Stayed here 2 nights with the tent. Nice welcome. Nice place. Since the main sanitary building is closed in the low season, the small one quickly reached its limits.

Mosquitoes in the evening
Dolce far niente on Lake Trasimeno
Beautifully situated campsite directly on the lake and on the outskirts of beautiful Castiglione. Some pitches are located directly on the lake and offer a beautiful panorama of the Tuscan/Umbrian countryside. The site is well run, everything is very relaxed. The sanitary facilities are fine. The town... can be reached with a nice walk along the lake and offers all shopping facilities and many nice restaurants. There are many worthwhile excursion destinations in the surrounding area. The only downside: you have to be able to deal with the swarms of mosquitoes in the evening.

Unfortunately we were only there for one night
We chose this campsite as a stopover on our trip to Naples. It is easily accessible from the highway and well signposted. The access road is on a bend, so it's best to park in front of the gate before checking in, as the campsite is small and it's difficult to turn around with a trailer. The reception... is very nice, they speak English. Checking in was very quick and easy, then we chose a free pitch and parked on a large meadow right by the lake. The pitch here is not parceled out, you can stand wherever there is space. Electricity connections are available everywhere. The campsite has a small minimarket and a bar, so you can get the essentials here. The historic town can be reached on foot in about 10-15 minutes. The view from the top is just great! The sanitary facilities are quite small, but modern and clean. You can certainly spend several days here and go on nice excursions or swim in the lake. Unfortunately we left the next day. For 2 adults + 1 teenager we paid 24 eur for one night. Conclusion: also highly recommended for several days.

A SUPER place
Small but very nice and located directly on the lake. Friendly and helpful staff. Great wash houses to feel at home in, very attractively designed and decorated. There is an extra "department" for the little ones. Good value for money, also in the restaurant. Many sporting activities are possible around the lake, as well as many sights. The old town of Castiglione del Lago can be reached in about 10 minutes.

Beautifully situated pitch right on the lake and within walking distance of Castiglione. Pleasantly shady pitches, sunny pitches directly on the lake. We arrived on August 16 - and would have gotten a spot in the back of the campsite even if theFiLu family hadn't booked in advance. The next day the big... departure started - and we got a great shady pitch by the lake. The sanitary building is relatively simple - but still modern compared to Calabria or Apulia - but functional and clean. And finally some really hot showers with decent water pressure. Small bar with reasonably reasonable prices available. Lidl and Familia are within walking distance for shopping, and there are restaurants at Lungo Lago or in the old town of Castiglione for eating out. We really enjoyed our stay and were totally surprised by the reasonable prices, as we hadn't looked at the price list beforehand.

In the tent and caravan area closer to the entrance, the sanitary facilities are a little weaker. In the centre of the campsite they are already perfect.
Cool transit camp
Nice lake with clear water. We visited this campsite as a transit and were very surprised. Reasonably priced and excellent for children.

Pure relaxation - ideal for families with small children! The lake is shallow, the water is warm and the pitches are right on the shore. There are no frills, the site is simple but clean and the staff are very friendly, plus the prices are very moderate for Italy - absolutely recommendable. We only wanted to stay one night when we were passing through, but ended up staying a whole week!

Listro is a simple campsite. There are basic hot showers and toilets, but everything is clean. Unfortunately, the dishwashing sinks only have cold water, as do the laundry sinks. So you have to get hot water from the nearest sink. There are no other luxuries. In the morning there is fresh white bread,... and a drink/espresso is also available in the small bar. The location on the lake is nice, although swimming may not be everyone's cup of tea: from the beach there is a 3-meter slippery slope into which you sink ankle-deep, then the water is extremely shallow and only after 200 meters does it reach your belly button. The quiet location and the short distance to the very pretty old town of Castiglione are very nice.
