Staying at Camp Ivan Do was truly a wonderful experience! The host is extremely welcoming, polite, and respectful - a true example of hospitality. He speaks perfect English, along with several other languages, which made communication easy and pleasant. The camp is well-organized - everything is clean and tidy, including the sanitary facilities, which are cleaned regularly. Garbage is also collected daily. One of the things we appreciated most is that the camp is pet-friendly, which is very important for many travelers nowadays. The view of Durmitor from the camp is absolutely breathtaking, and the Black Lake is just a short walk away. This makes the camp a perfect base for exploring Durmitor National Park. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, nature, and a well-managed campsite with a fantastic host!

What truly sets Camp Ivan Do apart is the perfect balance between price and quality – for a small amount of money, you get a phenomenal location on Durmitor, with a view of the peaks. The host is extremely kind, speaks excellent English, and is always ready to help. The sanitary facilities are clean and maintained daily, making the stay comfortable and carefree. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking nature, peace, and genuine hospitality
Negativno
People who write bad stuff on internet, because of small problem with toilet.
This is not just a review – it’s a heartfelt recommendation
This is already my second stay at Camp Ivan Do within the same year, which speaks volumes about my level of satisfaction. As a regular visitor to Durmitor, I can confidently say that Camp Ivan Do will always have my trust and support – year after year

Once and never again
On arrival after an almost impossible access due to parked cars (already described in another review here) we were checked in by the operator's playing children.
Free choice of place, it was very well filled. Sanitary buildings are both very run down, as is the rest of the site. Locking in the toilets... is not an issue, toilet paper or soap not available.
Wifi only when operator had her hotspot on and only at the house. Very uneven pitches almost all without shade. Little hospitality from the owner.

Poor quality of sanitary facilities, wifi
Camping in the middle of the mountains
A wonderful place with a view of the mountains. Especially in the morning and afternoon they look great. Development at a rather poor level, although if you do not expect luxury, it is enough. However, the condition of the bathrooms and access to hot water could be better. Note - poor wifi - only at the reception (and not always).

Extremely unfriendly and rude "welcome" Very unkempt sanitary facilities No catering facilities
Location top, friendliness flop
The approach to the campsite is via the road to the main entrance of the national park, which also functions as a parking lot. It was particularly bad when we arrived (Sunday afternoon). It took a lot of nerves and time to maneuver the caravan through, while the drivers behind showed absolutely no understanding... for the delay and let us know by honking incessantly. One of the most eager honkers was following the same route as us - and turned out to be the campsite owner. When he realized that we were planning to come to HIS campsite after all, his face suddenly improved and he embarrassingly tried to make up for his previous behaviour. However, we agreed that such behavior towards campers is simply inappropriate as a campsite owner, even if he didn't know at the time that we would become his customers (although the road no longer leads to any other campsite at this point). The only reason we stayed on the site was that we didn't want to take it upon ourselves to pass through the passage in question again. We were at the site with a caravan, but that seems to be rather unusual there. Camper vans/buses or tents are probably more practical due to the uneven terrain.

Cleanliness
for nature lovers & hikers, less comfort
We went hiking on the Ivan Do in October. The starting point was perfect. You can start directly at the crno jezero and go on challenging hiking tours. We haven't felt so close to nature for a long time. The cows even roamed freely on the site. The sanitary facilities were not cleaned this late in the... season. But there was hot water and a new sanitary building was almost finished. The owners were quiet, but not unfriendly. We have never paid so little on a campsite, so the price-performance ratio is 100% right.

Good shit
The only positive note is the price: 13 euros x 4 people in a tent one night. For the rest only inconveniences starting from the toilets too few for the camping people and without water in the evening (among other things without being warned by the gestiri too intent on drinking beer and sleeping in that dump they called reception). Great location for hiking in the mountains but too crowded with rude and unruly guests.

The best for hikers
Great location if you're hiking (mots trails start here), it's also within a walking distance from Zabljak where you can go shopping, eating. The view is perfect and the owner is friendly and helpful. Toilets could be renovated a bit and the trash bins emptied more often but generally we had fun there.

Close to town, in the woods, near the black lake
Camping in the forest
The best thing about the campsite is the proximity to the national park. If you walk from the campsite into the woods on the other side of the entrance, you're at Black Lake in 10 minutes and you don't pay admission! Small campsite, price to match. Be warned, not really suitable for caravans, there is... a big hill from the main road, I estimate 30%, it's narrow - and we almost didn't drive (motorhome) when some Russians driving down dodged us. It's worse with a caravan. The entrance is also quite narrow.

Sanitary facilities in poor condition
Camping in a fantastic location, unfortunately strongly clouded by catastrophic WC & shower
The campsite is perfectly located for spending a few active days in this beautiful mountain world. Several easy to challenging (circular) hikes are possible directly from the campsite, perfectly signposted and on good paths. So is this the perfect place for mountain lovers? Unfortunately not. As brilliant... as the surroundings are, the sanitary facilities are terrible. We really aren't squeamish in this respect, but we couldn't and didn't want to put up with our children using the toilets for more than two days and on the evening of our departure we even had to ask them to go next to the toilet block... What a pity about this place, which fell far short of its potential during our stay. Under "normal" circumstances, we would have liked to stay longer (as would our 2 direct camp neighbors).

Perfect location!
WE stayed at this Camp for 2 days, the owners are friendly! Gave us kettle because we didn't have anything to make tea, made us tourist registration for very low price, showed the directions. Camping is big, situated in a beautiful place, just several minutes to the Crno Jezero! Shower and toilets are ok, and what is important - they have guest kitchen!

great view of the Durmitor Mountains; absolutely quiet place; helpful and somewhat German-speaking campsite operator; pitches without shade (you don't need it at about 1500 meters), we had 7 degrees at night in June and about 18-20 degrees during the day; pitches are on a slightly hilly large private... property with covered seating (see. Photo); sanitary building very simple, partly renovated years ago, new sanitary building in the shell already finished; will be very nice and well equipped (see photo); cleanliness is ok; price-performance ratio is ok.Only a few 100 meters on foot to the "Black Lake"; to Zabljak approx. 50 minutes on foot on an almost continuous footpath with street lamps; there are two supermarkets, a bakery, several restaurants and pubs; no supermarket service on the campsite or shopping facilities in "Ivan Do" (suburb of Zabljak);
