Top location on the Sognefjord
Terraced pitch directly on the fjord. Very friendly welcome in English and free choice of pitches. The pitches are usually on gravel, but there are also grass pitches available for tent guests. Some pitches have a fireplace made from a stone circle or a steel truck rim. The sanitary facilities below... the reception are the better choice, but the older wash house is also OK. Food, camping equipment and fishing tackle are available at the reception. There is no path lighting at night, so take a flashlight with you. At the beginning of September, we paid NOK 250 for a motorhome with electricity and two people. Very good WLAN is free and showers cost NOK 10/5 minutes. You can fish from the shore. We came from the east via Instefjord. The 12 km long road is single-lane with a few passing places and the two tunnels are a bit narrow. We felt very comfortable here and would love to come back.

Very nice campsite north of Bergen
We were on a 14-day round trip through the southern part of Norway in August 2016. After visiting or having to visit a few campsites that benefited solely from their location and not their good condition, we were very pleased with the Botnen campsite. After overnight stays in tents at Preikestolen, Kjerag... and on the way to Trolltunga, Cabin No. 5 was our first cabin in a great vacation. In contrast to other well-known cabins, the cabin in Botnen was very clean and well equipped. WC, cooking facilities and fridge in the cabin. The highlight - the super clean and recently renovated sanitary facilities! Highly recommended! We would come again!!! Thank you.

Beautiful location
Simple, quiet site. Pitches for Womo and Wowa spread over several floors. Hytten spread over hilly terrain. Completely new sanitary and buffet building.

Very poor plumbing, kitchen really needs to be scrapped. Is cleaned a lot of fish, where the remains are not cleaned up. Highly recommended if you like hygiene.
