8 nights preseason in Bogense
We spent 8 nights here in the low season. There were actually only Danish permanent campers on site. It seemed like the site was just waking up from hibernation. It was very quiet here and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. Unfortunately, the cabins were still very expensive, so our relatives stayed in... the vacation homes directly opposite for a third of the price of the cabins. This was ideal and is recommended if you want to travel with a connection. As for the campsite, it is located in a cute little village. MENY can be found in the immediate vicinity. The Meny is well stocked and you can get everything you need for your daily needs there. The sanitary facilities are only nice in the main building at the reception and also usable in the rear area, our area included a smaller wash house, male and female together. It smelled very unpleasant there, it has to be said. The drains smelled of faeces and urine. It was also always quite cold there. Which wasn't the case in the wash house at reception. Our pitch was easy to drive on and not muddy or soft. The grass was mowed from 8.30 am. If you want to visit Bogense and the surrounding area, the pitch is well suited. You don't need to look for a beach as you are used to. But there is a beautiful harbor, you can take a wonderful walk. There is also the Kyst Camp in Bogense. That would be our choice next time. This site here meets the typical First Camp standard.

Condition of the sanitary facilities
Large campsite with drawbacks
We visited the campsite at the end of our Scandinavia tour and received a friendly welcome. The allocation of the pitch was easy, the ACSI discount card was accepted without any problems now in the low season. However, the cleaning of the rather outdated sanitary facilities was not very thorough. In... addition, there is no gender segregation in the main washroom. How you are supposed to wash there remains a mystery. So the only option is to use the family cabins, even as a single person, which is only possible in the off-season. Next time we'll take a different place.

Great campsite with lots of options
Unfortunately, the ACSI card was not accepted for the first few days even though the period was there according to the camping guide. Nevertheless, a lovely site, close to the harbor and the town. Great cycling tours possible. Cycle paths well signposted. Kitchen area with hotplates and ovens, everything was great.

Super place!
We were here in the middle of May. When we arrived on Saturday, the place was a hive of activity, but on Sunday almost all the campers left. The whole site is now deserted. That will change again at the weekend and during the Danish vacations. The whole site is exemplary clean. We mainly choose our pitches... based on the facilities and cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. We were not disappointed here. We can recommend this site without reservation.

Went free camping, Sept 7-9 A great site close to town - a bit far to "beach" but there was a nice swimming pool There was plenty of entertainment if you are into that sort of thing. It was very positive signage such as: please close the gate - you will get a hug. It was nice to experience instead of... the often commanding and threatening signs you can meet elsewhere. Likewise, the staff at the reception were very friendly. So thank you for a great weekend. A good experience

Located in the village, so the harbor, marina, coast, stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Beautifully situated church with cemetery on a cliff by the sea.
