Unfortunately, the dog owners didn’t follow the ban on the beach. Some campers also laid out rugs, despite the ban. Stefan G.junij 2026A stunning location on Lake GlindowWe really enjoyed our stay with you again. Cleanliness, organization, staff, beach, restaurant, and kiosk—everything was great. Suggestions for improvement:
- The trash room should be accessible at least during reception hours
- Unfortunately, the quality of the bread rolls from the bakery wasn’t up... to our standards; we ordered them twice and thought they were leftover from the day before… too bad
- Medium-coarse, paved camping sites would be great in the future. Right now, you’re just standing in dusty gravel. We had dry weather, but when it rains, you just end up getting your awning and camping gear all dirty.

I had a very pleasant phone conversation with a male staff member beforehand. Despite the short notice, he did everything he could to make it work. When I sent an email asking whether, as a solo traveler with a motorhome, I would have to pay an extra fee for the dog, the... manager herself replied, “No.” But when I arrived, she told me the price was much higher, and I also had to pay extra for the dog. When I politely pointed out the email mentioned above, she became very unfriendly. She said there was no option for a single-person booking. If I didn’t want to pay the price, she said, I didn’t have to stay!
Furthermore, the designated area for the dog was very strange. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a campground before! There was only a very small area where you were allowed to move around freely with your dog…

Bodite prvi! - Holger S.junij 2026Top FacilityThis was our second time at this campground. This time, we had reserved a spot by the water. Opinions may vary regarding the price. We weren’t able to set up our trailer the way we wanted to. A large tree was in the way, and there were new wooden fences on both the left and right. As a result, the awning... was crooked, and unfortunately, the “turf” was damaged. Some sites are also very close together. Otherwise, the campground is TOP-NOTCH. A lot of work has been done. The restrooms are undoubtedly excellent and very well-maintained (by the campground staff). Some campers could really pull themselves together and leave the facilities clean and tidy.

Even without a reservation, we got a great spot right on the lake. The grounds, including the restroom facilities, are very well-maintained and lovingly designed. In the evening, it’s a dream to take a dip in the lake and then wind down the day in total peace and quiet in front of the camper. You can always find an ear in the Rezi, the sanitary facilities are always clean and since this year the site has also been beautified. Many permanent camper pitches have been converted... into tourist pitches and the trees have been massively thinned out, so everything looks much brighter, fresher and friendlier.
