I arrived at the campground on July 2026. You can drive there; the road is still passable, the olive grove is overgrown with tall, dry grass, and the campground facilities are in ruins. You can camp out in the wild without any facilities.

You can use it as a place to stay overnight; it’s still listed everywhere as a campground, and there are still signs pointing to the campground, so no one should kick you out.

A landlord can't really do anything about mosquitoes But clean (mosquito and spider carcasses, dirt, soap residue....), repair (broken shower curtains, no doors, broken toilet seat, broken sink) .... That should already be possible Instead, an acquaintance just lazes around there and seems to sleep in... the kitchen the owner is not there. No doors in front of the toilet If you want privacy for your business or sexual separation for personal hygiene, you have to lock the main door and thus there is no further possibility for EVERYONE to shower or go to the toilet Payment directly on arrival and thus money gone. We didn't want to eat there We only took sealed bottled drinks NOT RECOMMENDED I don't expect luxury and am prepared for simplicity but not for dirt and breakages.
