Vacation at the Nest
The vacation rental we booked was really nice! The grounds and the restrooms are very clean. There are plenty of activities for kids. All the staff are very friendly!

That's nice, but...
I had booked a vacation cottage that, in and of itself, was really very pretty, cozy, and comfortable. Although it was located right on the small lake, unfortunately there was no view of it (bushes). It’s important to know that the vacation cabins and cottages are located on the permanent campers’ side... of the campground. That’s not for everyone—at least not for me. Next time, I’d book a place on the other side of the campground, by the big lake, where the “real” campers are. But oh well.
The entire campground is exceptionally well-maintained, and the restroom facilities are modern and very clean—there’s absolutely nothing to complain about. The staff at the front desk were very friendly.
I didn’t use the bread delivery service, nor did I eat at the restaurant, so I can’t comment on those.

Top Campground!
The campground is very well-run and really, really clean. It was a shame that the lake was closed when we arrived due to blue-green algae, but that’s not the operator’s fault. The activities are geared more toward younger children, but older kids can also have a great time on the awesome pump track, the soccer field, and the trampoline.
We really enjoyed our stay here. A top-notch campground with really nice owners. Thank you very much!

We came to this campground on a recommendation and haven’t regretted it for a minute. We prefer a family-friendly atmosphere, and that’s exactly what we found there—100%. The activities for kids are great. When we were there, I hardly saw my 10-year-old son. The entire grounds are very clean. When we had a problem (we had a short circuit), they helped us right away.

It was really great—we’ll definitely be back someday. 🫶🏻

We'd love to come back
As a “large” family, we had a wonderful time here at the campground. The campground is very well managed, has a family-friendly atmosphere, is a manageable size (great for the kids, who can run around freely here), and is car-free. The restroom facilities are spotless, the playgrounds are lovingly designed,... and the activities for children (crafts, kids’ disco, etc.) and adults (yoga, etc.) aren’t overwhelming—which is great. Highly recommended.
We've been camping for many years. This was our first time in Germany. We realized you don't always have to travel far to find a special place. Very nice and very clean. We've already booked for 2027.

Always a pleasure
As always, we spent the weekend there with four of our grandchildren. The facilities are great for kids up to age 14 (swimming lake, go-karts, a well-designed playground). The kids are already looking forward to next year.

We really enjoyed our stay
To me, the atmosphere at the campground has a bit of a Bullerbü feel to it. Both young and old felt very comfortable during our stay. The lake is perfect for swimming, though the bottom was unfortunately a bit muddy. If you’d like, you can use the bread roll delivery service—it’s very convenient. As for the restrooms, you can’t ask for anything better. The staff were attentive and friendly. We’d love to come back.

Everything is just right here
The last time we were there was about 7–8 years ago. So much has changed since then. Everything was just perfect at your campground—from the lovingly tended landscaping down to the smallest detail, right down to the play areas… Even the restroom building was so thoughtfully decorated. The whole experience... was just right. Even the security staff in the evening was so nice—as were all the employees in general.
1,000 out of 10 stars. We’ve never been to a campground where everything was as perfect as it was at your place.

Not for those seeking peace and quiet
Unfortunately, everything was always way too loud: three groups sat together and talked loudly until just after midnight. At 5:30 in the morning, the first ones headed to the washhouse, chattering loudly as they went. During the day, children were constantly running across our plot, and their ball ended... up under our trailer several times. We then had to keep an eye on our dog to make sure that didn’t happen, even though he was tied up so short that he could only move around on our plot. Even for him, the shouting and screaming was too much, and he went into the trailer. Our requests to the parents to send their children to the playground went unheeded; they didn’t want to let 5-year-olds (!) play on their own. I’m speechless. It felt like everyone had three kids with them; unfortunately, few of them were even remotely well-behaved. We felt like we were among a bunch of “wild ones.” We left after one day; if you’re looking for relaxation, this is the wrong place! “Recreational area” applies, if at all, only to the surrounding area.

You describe situations that took place over the course of a day or evening at our campground. If you’re unable to resolve the issue by speaking with your fellow campers, we’re available 24 hours a day. We were out and about on... the campground several times that day ourselves due to other guests arriving. Contrary to your statement, however, we did not see any children playing near your car or campsite, though we do not wish to dispute your description. After all, these are just snapshots of what we observed.
In addition, after the reception desk closes, we can be reached at any time by phone or by ringing a bell, so you could have contacted us starting at 10 p.m. if you felt your nighttime rest was being disturbed.
In fact, we were still on the campground at 9:00 p.m. that evening and did not notice any guests outside near your area either. The children had been put to bed. This was confirmed to us by other camping neighbors, whom we naturally contacted to check on their well-being and to inquire about your departure.
As you can see on our website, we are a family-friendly campground, which is also reflected in the activities we offer for children. Nevertheless, the campground rules apply to everyone, and anyone who is unable to resolve an issue through discussion with others can contact us at any time.

Immer wieder gerne
Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Wunderbar gestalteter Platzteil am kleinen See. Überlegte und Sinnvolle Abläufe wie z.b. Zugang nur mit Karte, Brötchenbestellung per App (richtige Bäckerbrötchen!). Tolles Personal.
Ein Problem war, ist aber bekannt und man versucht es auch in den Griff zu bekommen, das die gesamte Freifläche, Rasen und Strandabschnitt von Enten und Gänsen vollges...ssen
wird. Das war wirklich krass. Natur pur.
