We ate well and the staff were all very open, friendly and accommodating at the end.NegativnoWe had a relatively long walk from pitch 133 to the sanitary facilities. We also found it less than ideal that campers practically had to cross the terrace on the way to the shower and toilet facilities in the vacation apartments.Highly recommended!We had actually booked from Saturday to Wednesday and would have liked to stay longer, but because of the public holiday everything was fully booked from Thursday.
Unfortunately, our dog was so ill on Sunday that we had to fear the worst.
Unfortunately, we left on Sunday and the spontaneous cancellation... was handled very accommodatingly. Thanks again for that. We would love to come back again.

It's not the campsite's fault that the weather was bad at the beginning.
Steep access from the country road 'down' to the campsite, which is located directly on the Passer. Pitch with electricity, water and waste water. Wifi on the pitch.
Bus stop approx. 150 m... away. Free use thanks to guest card. In about 30 minutes in the center of Merano. Hirzer mountain railroad approx. 100 m away. Passer cycle/hiking path leads directly past the campsite. Supermarket approx. 3-4 km away in Riffian or St. Martin.
Very clean and modern sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, only 1 window, so that the humid air from the showers is very poorly extracted. This could cause a mold problem in the long term.
Indoor/outdoor pool heated and wellness facilities. As some people don't take their shoes off/change them at the entrance, they drag the dirt into the pool/wellness area.
Tennis court belongs to the hotel. Can be booked for a fee. Children's playground could be a bit bigger.
We thought the restaurant was great. The supermarket is also very well stocked and offers many regional specialties.
Staff always very friendly and helpful.

Hiking, cycling, water sports on the Passer, not far away is a station for various activities. Paragliding not far from the campsite. Merano is very easy to reach by bike or St. Martin/ Leonhardt.

A lot has changed for the better in the meantime. The site is divided between apple orchards and the pitches are sufficient. There is now a great store with everything you need at generally normal prices. Fresh bread... rolls are available in the morning. The restaurant is also new and has a large menu for every small and large appetite with seating in the restaurant itself and outside.
The swimming pool area has also been redesigned, everything is great. More sanitary facilities have also been added, very clean. A dedicated family with lots of ideas is continuing to develop the site.
On the negative side, the dog meadow has been sacrificed for more pitches for motorhomes. Overall, every conceivable corner has been made available for camper vans. With the elimination of the dog meadow, you no longer have the chance to take your furry friends for a short walk, unless you take the Passeierweg, which runs right past the campsite and is surrounded by mostly inconsiderate mountain bikers and cyclists. The small meadow next to the tennis courts (belonging to a hotel) is also less suitable for walking.
A beautiful place, but no longer suitable for dogs.
