A great campground with lots of activities for kids
Great campground. We’d go back anytime, and this certainly wasn’t our last visit. The restroom facilities are unlike anything I’ve seen before. Very modern, high-quality, and always clean. Bravo!
The climbing park is a wonderful attraction for kids.

A great place to relax
Check-in at 10 a.m. is too early. I can understand that during the peak season when things are really busy, but in the off-season, 11 a.m. would easily suffice. That makes a huge difference for a family. Nevertheless, we always look forward to the beautiful Havelberge and the campground.

Great pitch
You get a very friendly welcome here. Everything was great. Great view of the Havel.
We will be back. Unfortunately we were only here for one night as we were passing through.

Beautiful naturist CP
1. too many dogs ... and spread over almost all areas of the site! I've heard this a few times: campers register via the Internet (Havelberge!) for pitches in areas where dogs are banned ... Consequence: If the camper arrives on site, he is "relocated" by the groundsman, e.g. to the front meadow of the... campsite, at the expense of the "dogless" campers there ... It seems to go according to the motto - the main thing is to make promises, that brings money ... They have to pay for it on site at the campsite.
They even bring mobile gates with them (mostly campers with motorhomes or trailers) to create outrageous areas for their dogs ... and they then defend their "territory" 24 hours a day with constant fence control!
2nd Sanihaus has 6 cabins for the men, of which at least 1 is always defective, the same with the urinals ...
3. the naturist character on the C59 is being softened more and more (perhaps also deliberately by Havelberge): signs such as textile and naturist bathing area deliberately "blur" the fact that it is a naturist CP! All new arrivals should be informed at registration that the large bathing area must only be used as a nudist beach - with controls and addressing "those who do not comply"!
4. the barbecue ban introduced last year (?) is simply garbage! The decades-long permission up to WBS 2 had proved its worth !!! Incomprehensible ... Even during the summer checks by the rangers from the national park it was possible!
5. the still necessary pumping out by slurry tankers remains an imposition!
An investment in this problem is overdue - because this beautiful CP still has many free places (for tents!) ...
PS. I have been a real camper since 1983 (on the C60) and since 1994 on the C59 ...

Again and again with pleasure...
We always enjoy staying at this beautiful place. We always come at Whitsun and feel absolutely at home. The site and especially the sanitary building are unique. The stage program always rounds off the stay very well.

Good, but also expandable
The stay was, as in previous years, very nice.
We have always had mobile homes near the restaurant, which we were very happy with. This year we opted for larger houses, which were also very nice, but it is almost impossible to connect to the internet (wifi and mobile data).
When we asked at reception,... they pretended that this was a temporary problem and when we left it was brought up again and the colleague said that it was known but couldn't be changed.
There should be a possibility for this, given the current state of technology.

Booking exclusively online is difficult for older people. Telephone bookings are not accepted. This puts many campers off.

Recommended campsite
The interior design of the sanitary building and its cleanliness were excellent. We really liked the location of the pitch with a view of the lake. The staff in the reception, restaurant and store were friendly and the food was good. We used the canoe center and archery facilities (both good) and cycled a lot. We felt very comfortable (low season).

The road should slowly be repaired because many roots are pushing up the asphalt. Many holes in the paths where puddles form when it rains.

Very beautiful location with many different parts of the site. Terraced, in the forest, by the forest. Very good facilities and clean, modern sanitary blocks.

Sometimes the way to the next sanitary building can be very long. In my opinion, a 3rd (small) sanitary building at the level of the children's entertainment is missing. Unfortunately a lot of party campers. Loud music all day and into the night. The site management did not make sure it was quiet. I expect to be able to relax at a 5-star campsite. Many pitches are only accessible via steep access roads. This can be problematic for larger campers.

A beautifully situated site in the countryside with plenty on offer for young and old. But with some drawbacks.

Nice stay with a small drawback
We really enjoyed our stay at the campsite. Unfortunately, there was also something negative. Again there were problems with hot water in the shower house. Especially in the cold weather it is very important that you can take a hot shower and wash up and not have to walk forever to another shower house.

Narrow and not very good access to the parking spaces
Not again for us
Our caravan could not be parked on the pitch B 74 that you had allocated, the driveway was far too steep and there were deep ruts. After going to reception, we were only offered the emergency meadow as an alternative site. After we had parked our caravan there for the time being, we presented our problem... to reception again on Sunday and Monday and were again turned away with the statement that we were fully booked. We didn't feel well looked after with our request and even now, after our vacation, we are still totally disappointed 😞.

Achieved with a "Good"
The overall impression met our expectations. We took advantage of the many opportunities offered by the Zeltülatz.
The bungalow we used was also satisfactory in its entirety. However, I would like to point out that some of the kitchen equipment was missing. As we partly prepared our meals ourselves, we missed boards where we could cut onions, for example. A larger sieve or a colander would also have been helpful.
