Given the high temperatures, a pool would have been great, but we didn't know beforehand that it would get this hot.A well-maintained, modern campgroundThe campground is beautifully situated in a green setting within walking distance of a lake and offers a variety of sites for RVs or trailers, some with private restrooms. The shared restroom facilities were very clean; the washing machines accepted digital payments; and you can order bread rolls or... croissants in advance. there’s an Italian restaurant on-site, and a highly recommended food truck comes once a week. The campground is very quiet and well-suited for both families with children and couples, as the different areas are spaced far apart. Dogs are also welcome.
The family-run campground is beautiful and is being carefully transformed into a modern, contemporary campground with great dedication.

We immediately felt welcome and at home. We had booked a spa area. The groundskeeper came by and gave us instructions on how to use the sauna. During our conversation, he also gave us some great tips for day trips.
A very nice place to relax and unwind.... Everything was set up with great care. The table on the patio was decorated beautifully and had a small table lamp. It was very cozy in the evening.

The entire campground gives the impression of being very well-maintained, clean, and lovingly designed. Our campsite was spacious and comfortable, so we felt right at home from the very first... day.
A real highlight for us was the private restroom right next to our campsite. This meant we had our own bathroom right there, allowing us to enjoy our vacation even more comfortably and relaxingly. The restroom facilities were clean, modern, and very practical—definitely a big plus for us!
The staff was also friendly, helpful, and warm at all times. You can tell that they really prioritize making guests feel at home.
The location is also great: Feldmarksee is just a short drive away, and the surrounding area is perfect for biking, walking, and relaxing. Especially for a relaxing summer vacation, the combination of the campground, nature, and the lake is truly ideal.
Overall, the entire package—cleanliness, comfort, service, location, and atmosphere—is just right here.

After all, there’s always a little room for improvement, but that’s really just nitpicking at a very high level.
Our verdict: We felt completely at home and would visit Campingpark Heidewald again in a heartbeat. A clear recommendation for anyone looking for a well-maintained, quiet, and comfortable campground.

Unfortunately, we noticed on both occasions that people weren’t respecting the quiet hours in the common area near the barrels, and the communal kitchen wasn’t left in a very tidy state either. Very loud conversations continued until around midnight,... even though quiet hours begin at 10:00 p.m. Children were also still riding around on bikes and scooters with squeaky wheels. It’s a bit of a shame—everyone should have fun, chat, and socialize.
