But that's complaining on a high level.Great campsite that rightly deserves 5 starsEarning 5 stars is one thing, keeping them is another. And that's something you can feel at this campsite. We (grandpa and grandchildren) have already been there for the second time although we only live 7 km away. The kids want to go to this campsite. There are lots of children there and you can race around on the great Berg Kettcars. We were particularly impressed by the comfortable pitches with their own private sanitary facilities. The restaurant on the site is highly recommended. Me and my daughter booked a sleeping barrel. Spending the night in a sleeping barrel was very pleasant. The mattresses were comfortable and you could sleep very well in them despite the heat. There was enough storage space for luggage.... The area for the sleeping barrels, like the rest of the camping site, is very nice and clean. The sanitary facilities and washing-up areas were also very clean. The playground for children also looked good, but we didn't use it as my daughter is already a teenager. The Feldmarksee lake and beach are only a 10-15 minute walk away. It would be great for the children if a large awning could be installed at the playground for the summer months. It wasn't really possible to play in the blazing sun, especially at midday. In our opinion, the square lanterns came on too early. Certainly suitable for the fall season, but not so much for the summer. Please keep up the good work, we'll be back. The site is constantly being upgraded and you can choose between different pitch categories. As oldies, we like the rather quiet corner right at the front with the premium pitches. The sanitary facilities are new and clean... and are cleaned several times a day. It's just a shame that you can only wash dishes outside (which is a shame if you're afraid of wasp stings). But otherwise everything is great!Tradus automat.
- Catharina B.August 2025PlusuriDespite its location, very easy to reach by bus and train, small, family campsite with a good mix of permanent pitches and rentals and a very friendly team, great restaurant right on the site, site with direct proximity to the lake and shopping facilities, Beautiful excursion destinations in the surrounding area, very well maintained, top sanitary facilities, pitch and glamping facilities designed with attention to detail.Minusuri/A wonderful stayWe stayed in the Schäferwagen for 5 days and were completely thrilled. The caravan was lovingly designed and is located right next to the sanitary facilities (very well thought out, as there is no shower in the caravan). The price for this glamping experience was absolutely fair. We had no complaints... and very friendly contact with the campsite team at all times. The mixture of permanent pitches and rental properties/pitches is also well mixed, so that the lovingly designed site never seemed overcrowded despite the high season during the summer vacations. The lake is within walking distance and surrounded by greenery, making the campsite ideal for swimming, cycling and relaxing. We definitely want to come back next year and can definitely recommend this campsite.Tradus automat.

As we always travel with our dog, it is important to us that there is the opportunity to walk the dog. We were given a key to the gate at the back of the campsite so that we could go for a walk on the field paths behind the campsite.... That was great!
This time we had a pitch with a rented bathroom, which we really liked, and the sanitary facilities are super clean and modern for all campers.
Although the campsite was quite full and many people had a dog with them, it was still very quiet.
Also, if you cross the road through the forest, you can get to the bathing lake.
I should also mention the friendliness of the staff, who were always very helpful!
