Lively campground. People here go to bed early, so it’s nice and quiet at night. The water is wonderfully pleasant—you can just walk right into it in the morning. After the high season, there are lots of families with really young children. Stand-up... paddleboarding, biking, hiking—everything is nearby. The grounds are very well maintained, the restrooms are spotless, and there are also a few restroom units available for rent. The staff and hosts are always friendly and helpful, and the direct access to the lake is greatly appreciated.... There’s a playground for toddlers and an adventure playground for older kids with lots of different activities. The surrounding area is great for hiking and biking, and there are various restaurants and recreational activities. A small supermarket next door has just about everything you need.

We were there during peak season and felt like it was cleaned regularly. The two family showers, in particular, are spacious and easily accommodate the whole family. A really nice and quiet place.
We had a spot right at the entrance across from the washhouse, but I wouldn’t book that one again because there was a constant stream of people coming and going—whether to shower, use the restroom,... do the dishes, do laundry, or even for those who needed to empty their portable toilets.
You can’t help but hear the hand dryer when the entrance door is open.
The washhouse itself, however, is really clean and tidy, as is the campground itself.
The campsites vary in size. It’s a good idea to make a reservation in advance, since they’re really popular.
But what’s really nice is the direct access to the lake.
