As soon as we arrived, we could tell that this place would be the perfect oasis of peace to unwind and relax. We’ve never had such a beautiful spot for our trailer and awning. We had a spot right by the fjord, so we could start the day with a view of the fjord first... thing in the morning. Then, in the evenings, being able to experience those gorgeous, dreamlike sunsets against the stunning fjord backdrop was one of the many highlights for us.
We went on absolutely stunning hikes, kayaking trips in our folding kayak, and bike rides. But our vacation also included cultural experiences and city tours, such as in Hobro and the very beautiful Aarhus!
All in all, this was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in the last 15 years! It was very hard for us to leave.
A heartfelt thank you to the incredibly kind hosts, Anni and Kenneth! You’re wonderful and provide vacationers with a peaceful, relaxing, and friendly atmosphere!

We didn’t go to the beach because it was simply too late and too windy.
The entrance seems to be at the far end of the campground, so it’s a few meters’ walk.
What’s important to us are the restroom facilities. And they were top-notch.
Everything was very well-maintained,... state-of-the-art, and there were family restrooms (toilet, shower, sink). So you’re undisturbed and have your privacy.

The sanitary facilities are very good in concept, there are nine family bathrooms and one handicapped. If you have a fjord pitch you have a fantastic view of a wonderful sunset. Good excursion options including Dania, Hobro, Hvidsten Kro and Randers Rainforest. The veteran railway has a terminus right by the campsite and runs through and along the campsite Very cozy... when the old steam locomotive chugs along. The site has a very friendly and welcoming host couple who will do everything to fulfill the guests' wishes. The campsite is divided into smaller sections, which gives a good atmosphere as there are not many permanent residents gathered in one place. The kitchen, showers and toilets are clean and tidy, and there is now an outdoor kitchen with barbecue and a covered terrace with dining area. Louise B.июль 2011Unfortunately, they did not have a baby bed available, which we had been promised. We contacted them several times, but there was nothing we could do. We had to place our 1-year-old daughter on the bottom bunk and put chairs in front. We chose to check out 2 days early (Saturday) when our daughter fell... out of bed. The hosts actually thought we were checking out on Saturday as well, so they had misunderstood. At checkout, it turned out that they actually HAD an extra cot that we could have borrowed... luckily we got a nice refund due to the misunderstanding. Our cabin was also located next to a sewage treatment plant, where we noticed an annoying "clinging" from a gate or the like, especially in the evening.
