No problem with a dog, you can go for a walk there. Located close to the highway which is not audible. The place makes a very well-kept impression. It is also conveniently located for cyclists, directly on the Danube cycle path. We (2 adults) spent two weeks on the site with our dog and were very satisfied. Walking the dog was no problem.... The location of the site is very nice and quiet, hardly any traffic. The pitches are generously laid out on flat grass, broken up by bushes. There are only a few sanitary facilities, but they are always very clean. A bread roll service is provided by the traveling baker at half past 7 in the morning. There is a small, well-stocked store and a bakery just 100 m away in the village. For trips to Passau, the Bavarian Forest and other places in the Danube Valley, the place was ideal for us. Austria is also not far away. Every pitch has electricity and there are plenty of water taps. The site is very reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and helpful. I only heard the baker's bell at 8.00 a.m. on the first day. Unfortunately, we were unlucky to have chosen a pitch directly behind the tall bushes. A small stream flows behind it, which we only discovered later. As a result, we had an incredible... number of mosquitoes. This is certainly not the case at any other campsite. The sanitary facilities are older, but always clean. The operator is always friendly and in a good mood. Although the operator is only on site sporadically, 2 to 3 times a day, everything runs smoothly. You choose a pitch and as soon as the lady is back, she comes by and takes your details. Likewise when you leave, just let her know in advance and she will bring the bill with her next time. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling. The Danube is about 1 km away, the paths there and along the Danube are flat. Eging am See, Vilshofen, Passau, Deggendorf...all not far away and the Czech border can be reached in about 70 km. Thomas F.июнь 2011We stayed in Neßlbach for one night with WW & dog. The small campsite is cozy, uncomplicated, very well located and inexpensive. The sanitary facilities are simple but very clean. Beautiful pitches, a small lounge with a kitchenette, a small covered terrace with vending machines (beer also available)... ensure a pleasant stay even when it rains. The Danube is about a 10-minute walk away and the path there is ideal for walks. We can recommend the nearby Gasthaus Auenstein with a clear conscience. The beer (Wolferstetter) is world class, our meal was hearty and delicious.
