After a short search, we discovered the campsite on the outskirts of the village. The area of the campsite is very spacious. So there is plenty of space. We were able to choose our own pitch on an allocated area. There are plenty of sanitary facilities. They are cleaned once or twice a day.Tradus automat.

If you walk over the dune, there is a super long sandy beach (our dog had a blast). The site itself is quite large, but still not noisy on May 31, the sanitary facilities are clean and the young man at reception is very... friendly. Unfortunately, the site doesn't offer any catering, but it's only a 15-minute walk to the center of Dornoch, where you can get something to eat or do some shopping. The cathedral is also worth a visit.Tradus automat.

Zelter X.July 2011Dornoch Camping is a large site and is mainly filled with mobile homes. However, there is also a large meadow for caravans and motorhomes and a few individual pitches for tents in the dunes. Sand pegs are not necessary. The shallow sandy beaches are inviting for families with small children. Dornoch... is just a few minutes' walk away. The sanitary building in the area of the mobile campers is old and completely inadequate in terms of capacity. With two showers, queuing is inevitable. It is inexplicable that the sanitary building in the mobile home area is much more modern and has more space. Ideal starting point for Dunrobin Castle, Fall of Shin and Pictish Trail.Tradus automat.
