A quiet place in a strategic location. Excellent amenities and helpful staff.

If I had to find one flaw, it would be the bells and cannon shots at 5:30 a.m. on August 15... But then I realize that it’s an important tradition for them.

Everything—it's a lovely campground in a beautiful location, with very friendly people and good restroom facilities. It's great that it's situated so nicely in the village and right in the heart of the Stubai Valley. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.

We felt completely at home at the Stubaital Campground. We especially loved the wonderful tranquility, the well-maintained campsite, and the exceptionally friendly staff. The owner was also very friendly and helpful at all times. The restroom facilities were always clean and very well maintained. However, we rarely used them since we have everything we need in our RV. A special highlight is the phenomenal location with the beautiful view of the mountains. For me, as a paraglider, the campground was ideal: the gondola—or rather, the lift—was no more than ten minutes away. We felt very comfortable throughout our entire stay and have no suggestions for improvement. We’d love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend the Stubaital Campground!

The campground is very well maintained. Clean restrooms. It’s nice to be close to the village, the bakery, and the supermarket. There’s plenty to do, and thanks to the free bus service, it’s very easy to get anywhere in the valley.

The only downside was that we weren't allowed to set up a small tent next to the RV, because that wasn't allowed in that section of the campground. We totally understood that. But after we came back from our cabin trip, others on the same street were allowed to do so. That felt a bit unfair.

The campground is very centrally located, so it’s just a short walk to the stores. The owners are always approachable and accommodating. The restrooms are well-maintained, heated in any weather, and feature soft Tyrolean music playing in the background.

You might have bad luck with your parking spot, since there are no designated spaces. It feels like the cars and RVs are parked somewhat haphazardly. But that’s also because the vacationers don’t follow the rules.

There's nothing there

The location was perfect, made even better by the free transportation available with the Stubai Card. The facilities are very clean, and quite possibly the best shower facilities we’ve ever experienced at a campground. The service was excellent. The variety of things to do in the valley with our children was amazing.

Nice, spacious sites, though there’s little to no shade. Electricity and water are nearby. The restrooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Close to the village, literally right next to a supermarket, and close to a (free) bus stop.

The reception desk is closed between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., so you won't be able to enter the campground during that time. Access to the restrooms requires a pass, so you must always have it with you.

Great location, everything is clean, nice sites, and if you have any questions, they're happy to help.

Beautiful location, very nice and well-kept washhouse. Great owner—Gerhard makes everything possible and keeps his place in wonderful harmony. We’ll definitely be back; we’ve never been made to feel so welcome before.
