The peace and quiet in Geiswasser—priceless. The owner, Ms. Schappler, is always courteous and friendly. The campsites are spacious enough. We love it here and always come back.
Minusuri
There are no complaints.
Our Favorite
We've been coming back here time and again for several years now, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in Neuf-Brisach as well as in Breisach.

Campers with larger dogs will be turned away.
Never, never again!
Wanted to go to this site with our dog (Viszlar) on 18.09.2025, but were turned away because of our dog.
Our dog is over 20 cm tall. The campsite owner's dog is smaller and aggressive and is allowed to roam around freely.
We have been to this campsite twice before with our dog and were satisfied, but... this time we were turned away in an unfriendly manner because of the size of our dog. Therefore never again.
All campers with dogs should consider going to this site.

The price was good
Minusuri
Unfriendly reception, arrogant treatment by the site owner Inflexible, no food and no shopping facilities
Not a pleasant experience
We were treated very unfriendly and arrogantly. It was difficult to accommodate 3 vehicles on the pitch as we would probably be too loud!
After a fellow traveler probably wouldn't make it to 17.30 due to a flat tire and it wasn't possible to arrive later, we were almost happy to be turned away from the... site. We switched to the nearby Münsterblick site, where we experienced the complete opposite:
Friendly and flexible site owners and good food too!

Very suitable for relaxing, the pitches are tidy 👍🏻 there are sunny and shady spots. The sanitary facilities are simple and always clean.
Minusuri
For shopping you have to go to the neighboring village, where there is a large supermarket.
Very quiet campsite 👍🏻
We got to know the campsite 4 years ago and come back every year. We really like the peace and quiet and the beautiful area. We enjoy being out and about every day on our pedelecs.

According to the list of priorities, peace and quiet, clean sanitary facilities and generous space are 100% guaranteed. In addition, there is a very friendly and reliable, helpful service - all at a very reasonable price. What more could you want?
Minusuri
No kiosk in the immediate vicinity; since you know this in advance, you have to provide for yourself ;-) After all, you are booking a nature camping vacation here!
Wonderfully quiet, spacious and clean campsite

From here you can go on interesting tours by bike; excursions... to Alsace (e.g. Colmar with the Isenheim Altar; Obernai; Odilienberg; Ribeauvillé; Riquewihr; Sèlestat; Strasbourg ...) as well as to nearby Switzerland are within easy reach.
We particularly like the cycle route along the Rhine from Breisach to Fessenheim.

We loved staying here! On our arrival we were friendly welcomed and we were shown the free pitches. When we moved into the pitch with our motorhome, we were able to connect it to the power supply immediately. We had no problems with the power supply. The sanitary area is simple and always very clean. There is toilet paper and always hot water. At the time of Corona, mouth and nose protection is required by law in the sanitary area. compliance is observed It is a very quiet campsite with large pitches and free wifi. The nearest supermarket is about 9km away. We rode our pedelecs a lot and enjoyed exploring the quiet area.

Nice place with decent sanitary facilities.
Minusuri
The campsite operator is extremely unfriendly
Not recommended
We were on the site from Friday to Sunday. The site itself is very nice, idyllically situated by a small stream and the sanitary facilities are fine. However, what ruined the whole weekend for us was the very unfriendly campsite manager. We constantly had the feeling that we were unwanted. At first... she complained about our large motorhome (8.0m), but then she left (reluctantly). Later she said that she had already had much larger mobile homes on the site. What was that all about? The power supply was very adventurous. The power went out several times and of course it was always our camper van's fault. Our dogs had to stay on a lead as a matter of course, but were attacked twice by their dog (unleashed). Finally, "the Germans" were put under general suspicion that they deliberately did not want to wear mouth/nose protection, but she herself received them on Friday completely without mouth/nose protection (we were wearing mouth/nose protection). In short, we are very disappointed and will certainly NOT be back. Too bad for the beautiful place.

Peace and quiet! Cleanliness
Minusuri
No catering facilities in the village
Small fine place
Stayed here for 3 nights with the tent. Absolutely quiet location. Sanitary facilities average but clean! In the morning at 10 a bakery truck arrives honking, that's all the food you need. As a self-caterer you can camp here very quietly!

Wonderful little place in a very quiet location, ideal for cyclists, about 10 km to Breisach (beautiful cycle path), the place is very reasonably priced, has wonderful large pitches and a nice sanitary house, unfortunately without a usable socket (e.g. for hair dryer), but the charming, friendly operator... switches on the electricity on request (also for the washing machine for a fee), the place is too secluded for children and teenagers, a bakery van comes in the morning.
