Wanted to go to this site with our dog (Viszlar) on 18.09.2025, but were turned away because of our dog.
Our dog is over 20 cm tall. The campsite owner's dog is smaller and aggressive and is allowed to roam around freely.
We have been to this campsite twice before with our dog and were satisfied, but... this time we were turned away in an unfriendly manner because of the size of our dog. Therefore never again.
All campers with dogs should consider going to this site.

After a fellow traveler probably wouldn't make it to 17.30 due to a flat tire and it wasn't possible to arrive later, we were almost happy to be turned away from the... site. We switched to the nearby Münsterblick site, where we experienced the complete opposite:

We were on the site from Friday to Sunday. The site itself is very nice, idyllically situated by a small stream and the sanitary facilities are fine. However, what ruined the whole weekend for us was the very unfriendly campsite manager. We constantly had the feeling that we were unwanted. At first... she complained about our large motorhome (8.0m), but then she left (reluctantly). Later she said that she had already had much larger mobile homes on the site. What was that all about? The power supply was very adventurous. The power went out several times and of course it was always our camper van's fault. Our dogs had to stay on a lead as a matter of course, but were attacked twice by their dog (unleashed). Finally, "the Germans" were put under general suspicion that they deliberately did not want to wear mouth/nose protection, but she herself received them on Friday completely without mouth/nose protection (we were wearing mouth/nose protection). In short, we are very disappointed and will certainly NOT be back. Too bad for the beautiful place.

Stayed here for 3 nights with the tent. Absolutely quiet location. Sanitary facilities average but clean! In the morning at 10 a bakery truck arrives honking, that's all the food you need. As a self-caterer you can camp here very quietly!

Wonderful little place in a very quiet location, ideal for cyclists, about 10 km to Breisach (beautiful cycle path), the place is very reasonably priced, has wonderful large pitches and a nice sanitary house, unfortunately without a usable socket (e.g. for hair dryer), but the charming, friendly operator... switches on the electricity on request (also for the washing machine for a fee), the place is too secluded for children and teenagers, a bakery van comes in the morning.
