Unfortunately, the appliances and pots were encrusted with limescale. Very long wait at check-in. Some cars and e-scooters were driving fast. This made it a bit difficult with a toddler. The grounds are also very well maintained, and there are plenty of play areas for the kids. Plus, there’s a great entertainment program, as well as an outdoor pool and an indoor pool—complete with slides for fun—and an indoor play area. As an adult, you get a little bored, and a swimming pool would have been niceOur impressions after our stay during summer vacationThe Ijsselstrand Campground offers a nice change of pace from everyday life. There are several play areas for the kids. You can go swimming every day, take a walk, enjoy the sun, or even just grab a bite to eat while the kids have fun at the playground.
If you have a car, you can drive to the stores,... or you can use the small on-site supermarket, which is even open on Sundays.
We also visited a zoo nearby (25 km away), which was nice, and there are other places to visit, such as an open-air museum, etc.

Despite there being so many kids, the houses were absolutely quiet, perfect for a restful night’s sleep.
The... only thing we would have liked at the pool was a snack bar open every day for drinks and snacks, as well as changing rooms. After swimming, it was difficult to get changed before heading back to the cottages. Even though it was very crowded, there was still plenty of room to swim.... There’s also an indoor pool. The park is very large, so it’s a great place to take a walk. There’s a snack bar, restaurants, and a supermarket. We’ve been to several Capfun parks before, but we especially liked this one.
