We do our utmost to ensure that our welcome is up to scratch and we thank you for pointing this out. We bought this campsite 2 years ago, this is our 3rd season and we are gradually doing some work, according to our means and our available time in winter.... You couldn't have said it better, the mini golf course will disappear this winter, but until now it wasn't our priority, there was a lot more to do in the last 2 years.
Concerning the road, we understand your remark, it can be audible depending on the location and the type of accommodation on mistral days and it's true that in a tent you have less sound insulation! Don't forget that you asked us to be as close as possible to the sanitary... facilities because of mobility problems, and we respected your wishes. We're sorry to hear that cleanliness was only given a 6/10, even though the cleaning team came twice a day to clean the sanitary facilities. A longer stay than just one night would undoubtedly enable you to appreciate our campsite even more. We are delighted that you have appreciated the welcome, the comfort of the pitch, the cleanliness and the peace and quiet; and the peace and quiet is justified in particular by the fact that the lights and entertainment are switched... off at 11:00 p.m. in accordance with the municipal bylaw that we have. We are on the outskirts of the village, next to a housing estate, and we are obliged to respect this regulation for our neighbors. Please note that, given all the outdoor activities and the heat, the bar is not frequented at all until late afternoon, when there's no one there and it's too hot. It is regrettable, reading you, that you only remember negative things about your stay, without even having spoken to us in person before your departure! The 1-bedroom mobile home is equipped with a 90-liter fridge that we feel is totally suitable for 2 people. And when you... booked it, the description of the mobile home was clear. These days, people want the comforts of home at the campsite, but let's not forget that a mobile home only has 20 amps, and that if each family brings its own plancha, straightener, iron, airfyer, cooker, kettle and toaster (as we experienced last week), it's obvious that in a heatwave with air conditioning, the meter won't be able to cope. It was regrettable to see disrespectful people turning up the air-conditioning to 17 degrees when it was 40 degrees outside with the windows open! That's why we asked everyone to make an effort to reduce their consumption (by not plugging everything in at the same time) between 6.30 and 9.00 pm. Believe us, in the middle of the restaurant service (because yes, we're also in the kitchen and on duty), we had other things to do, and the situation didn't make us feel at ease, because since our acquisition in 2023, it's the 1st time we've had to deal with this problem! It's a question of knowing how to live as a community in this selfish world. We were rather reactive, as we very quickly had an electrician, ENEDIS and EDF intervene to increase the power and improve our installations so that you could enjoy your 40 degrees without any electrical gymnastics. As for the nocturnal swimming pool, it's just a question of allowing customers to swim in a pool that's on until 11:00 pm, not a pool party!
