- LSLajana S.August 2026Have a nice, sunny weekendSuper nice campground—we were given a really warm welcome ☺️ We set up camp as a group on the lawn. A very nice spot, especially for groups and kids! Getting to the lake was no problem at all—just a 10-minute walk. Great sunny and shady spots with food and cold drinks right on site 👌
Maybe they could... do something about the smell in the restroom—otherwise, it was super clean and well-maintained!

The nearest place to shop is a 15-minute bike ride away. The restaurant is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The staff was absolutely rude. We were a family of five in total, including a child. Even though the place was completely EMPTY, we weren’t allowed to take a chair because there were only tables for four. Our child then went to the playground. I hadn’t ordered a drink because I didn’t want to eat or drink anything there anymore, but they still brought one over, and when I pointed it out very politely, the man gave us a rude look again. The restaurant is only open for three hours total; it was empty, and you can’t buy anything at the store either. And the restrooms haven’t been renovated at all—only the area where you walk through and then men and women go in separately.more appearance than substanceYou're better off skipping it. Go somewhere else. Neither the store nor the so-called restaurant nor the restrooms are any good. Swimming... spot right at the foot of the campground: Lake Hardausee.
Suderburg is a quick bike ride away for shopping. Veterinarians, doctors, and dentists are all right here in town. Great bike paths.
So if you’re looking for a quiet, well-equipped campground, you’ve come to the right place.

A culinary treat looks quite different....
We ended up going to the Greek restaurant in the neighboring village instead. The rest of the campground is highly recommended—but campers with high expectations should avoid the restaurant.

We’d especially like to highlight the exceptional cleanliness of the restroom facilities. They were well-maintained and clean at all hours of the day—something that’s by no means a given at campgrounds these days. The... entire campground is also in excellent condition: Everything looks lovingly maintained, tidy, and well-thought-out.
Our highest praise, however, goes to the entire team. You can tell at every moment that the people working here put their heart and soul into their jobs. Without exception, all the staff were friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on their faces. This warm atmosphere plays a crucial role in making you feel welcome and at home from the very first moment.
