Great, but with a few significant drawbacks
The campground is really beautiful all around. The restrooms are cleaned regularly and are therefore very inviting. Unfortunately, after 11:00 p.m., only one 24-hour unisex restroom is open, which was actually always super dirty and smelly at night. The showers are nice and spacious, but many of them... lack sufficient water pressure. This is particularly unfortunate for people with long hair, since you’re charged by the minute. If you’re really unlucky, taking a shower there can turn into a long—and expensive—experience. It would also be helpful to have soap dispensers at the sinks in the shower area. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work at all—not for streaming, browsing, or even simple text messages. If you’re on Vodafone, you’ll find yourself in a complete dead zone with your cell phone there, too. Also, a sandplay mill on the playground squeaks really loudly if your spot is nearby. The kids loved it, of course, and spun it all day long. It might need to be oiled. Despite these issues, the campground is always a pleasure, and we’d love to come back.

Good spot
There's still plenty of room for improvement when it comes to childcare. A second playground in the front area wouldn't be a bad idea either—maybe something for slightly older kids, like inflatable cushions or a trampoline...

We always enjoy coming back to your place. The campground is very clean overall. The self-check-in kiosk works great. The staff is courteous.

Great campground
The campground is very nice, and there’s a great selection of activities. We did notice, however, that there aren’t quite enough trash cans, especially on the large lawn. But other than that, everything was clean—the showers, restrooms, and laundry area.

This is where we feel most at home
We've been coming here for years and just love it. Everyone is so friendly, and the lake and the entire campground are simply a dream. The wash houses are always clean, too. The campsites on the peninsula are especially recommended.

For me, the stay was absolutely fantastic. The staff was really nice and attentive, and the restrooms were very well-maintained and clean. I have absolutely no complaints—we’ll definitely be back!!!!

nice campground
During the first few days (Sunday through Wednesday, July 5, 26, through July 8, 26), the site deserved its “Comfort” rating. The site was very spacious, the hookups were available, and there was a view of the lake. That view was then blocked by numerous tents and parked cars, and in my opinion, the... site subsequently lost its “Comfort” rating. Furthermore, we had neighbors who constantly walked across the plot we had rented and continued to do so even after I asked them to stop. Even the “friendly” neighbor across the way (Tannenweg 3) allowed his daughter to do her “business” on our plot. When I brought this up with the neighbor, he brushed it off curtly, saying, “It’s not that bad.” Of course, something like that really spoils the vacation experience.

A return visit is planned
We’d love to come back—same plot, same rental pool! It was just right for us. There’s nothing you can do about the rain on the first few days. But the sun came out beautifully for the rest of the week. The staff—whether housekeeping, information desk, restaurant, or mini-market—were all very friendly.

Short Weekend

Highly recommended
A very nice campground, especially for families. The restrooms were spotless. The incredible number of dogs (one is always barking) was a bit annoying. Even though we really like dogs, there were just way too many of them.

Nice, but with some flaws
Nice campground, kid-friendly, everything is within easy reach.
Unfortunately, the ground in the campsites is very compacted, hard, and often sandy. The grass is damaged in many campsites due to the use of airtight tarps.
Despite the presence of cleaning staff, there is constant dirt, especially in the... women’s restrooms—both the toilets and the shower area. Sand and mud, hair, and standing water in the walkways. No hygiene bags in the stalls (not restocked even after 3 days), and smelly drains. In my opinion, this is unacceptable given that you have to pay to shower. In the 24-hour restroom, someone had defecated on the floor, and it wasn’t cleaned up for hours. The children didn’t want to use the restrooms.
Although the beaches are marked as dog-free zones, people were repeatedly seen with their dogs right on the beach (not just walking them).

I'm super happy!
The playground is really great. The restrooms are clean, and the mini-market has all the essentials. The food at the restaurant is good. It’s a very well-executed overall concept, made even better by the friendly staff.

A well-attended campground. Dog-friendly. Lots of children, yet quiet.

They advertised "comfort spots," but you still ended up sitting right on top of your neighbor's table. I always picture something bigger and more spacious there. The access roads are too narrow. I doubt that fire safety regulations are being followed here. Despite the cleanliness, some of your four-legged friend’s “gifts” were left behind (even though there were free bags and trash cans). Soap dispensers are missing in the shower areas. Despite the “play street” sign, some cars and e-scooters were going very fast. There really should be an option to pre-order bread rolls online. We couldn’t even get two rolls without pre-ordering; we had to come back later and ended up with rolls that were already a bit stale.
Great campground with a few minor flaws
Overall, it was a wonderful, peaceful vacation. There were lots of children and dogs, but everyone was friendly. There was even children’s entertainment. A large dog-off-leash area with a swimming lake. Friendly staff. A clean campground. The restroom facilities were clean, too. We highly recommend this campground, and we’ll definitely be back.

Everything's fine at this campground
I stayed there for one night and, overall, I have no complaints.
Except for this: Shower time is charged to a card and costs €5 for 20 minutes. Way too expensive for me. Since you don’t get a refund for unused shower time, you have to go to the front desk when you check out. I’d prefer an online payment... system.
Electricity is billed separately as well. I paid €14 for electricity for one night, and I had a few appliances running. But that’s still a lot of money for just one night.

Extraordinary
The campground is exceptional in many ways. It’s set in a scenic location, and the lake in the center is perfect for swimming. The restaurant is exceptionally good and reasonably priced. Check-in and check-out can be done digitally for the most part.
Upon arrival, there are signs instructing you to pull... over to the right. We did so and were loudly ordered by a very angry employee to immediately pull into a car parking space to the right of the reception desk. Turning our caravan, which is over 13 meters long, in that spot was a real adventure, but the employee didn’t care at all.
The Campercard is also unusual. If you don’t have it with you at all times, you can’t access the restrooms, the trash disposal area, etc. That’s really stupid. And the wash houses are closed from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.! Even a Campercard won’t help you then. So at night, you have to use the toilet in your trailer or RV, or resort to an open unisex restroom in the washhouse. But it constantly smells like a dirty train station restroom there. It takes your breath away.
Anyone who, like us, expects the wash houses to be cleaned at night will be disappointed. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired all day long. There are plenty of toilets, sinks, and showers. Water in the shower is only available with a CamperCard. If it isn’t sufficiently charged, the water shuts off before you’ve even rinsed the shampoo out of your hair. Then it’s time to dry off, get dressed, grab your EC card from your campsite, and recharge the CamperCard at the machine in front of the washhouse. We’ve never experienced anything like this at any campground in all of Europe. Truly extraordinary.
A little tip: A campground that rates itself 4.5 stars doesn’t charge separately for hot water and electricity. The Campercard covers those costs. And early risers can easily use the washhouse or go to the restroom at night without needing a face mask.
We’re giving it a generous 3 stars. Except for the restaurant—that definitely deserves 4.5 stars!
