Nice location, but the operator can't help it. Pitches are pleasantly large and level. Dog-friendly.
Negativos
The price is almost outrageous for this historic interior (gåmla). Dirty and badly in need of renovation sanitary facilities are part of the ambience. At lunchtime, time is sweetened by the enchanting sound of a lawnmower.
The stars are faded
It's surprising that you don't see anyone cleaning and maintaining for the high price. The sanitary facilities should be renewed. The location is really beautiful and a well-kept campsite would be desirable. So for me it only gets 1.5 stars at most. Too bad.

Beautifully situated on Lake Siljan
Relatively larger but still good and clean pitch. Sanitary facilities were in a good and very clean condition. A walk on the pier is highly recommended. No parceled out areas. Lots of tall trees, so nice and shady in midsummer.

Location on the lake / ideal for swimming
Negativos
Limited number of sanitary facilities
At Lake Siljan
The campsite is located directly on Lake Siljan, which is ideal for swimming, even for small children, because it is very shallow and therefore relatively warm. Germans are in the absolute minority on the site. Most of the campers come from Sweden and Norway. Despite its size, the site was well filled.... The individual pitches are not particularly large. The biggest disadvantage is the very limited sanitary facilities in relation to the size of the site. The price was just ok. For 3 nights you get a free night in Säffle on Lake Vänern.

In the low season well suited for a stopover with major cleaning.
Negativos
According to other guests, overcrowded in high season.
Pleasant in the low season
We were lucky and managed to get a pitch right by the lake at the beginning of June. We therefore stayed for 2 days. The entire complex is in good condition.

Location, location, location!
Very beautiful location on Lake Siljan
On our round trip through Sweden, we were tipped off by Swedish campers to head for this site. As the season slowly comes to an end in Sweden in mid-August, we had a free choice of pitches and were lucky enough to be right by the lake. Our camper van had never been so beautiful. The view across Lake... Siljan to the houses of Rättvik on the hillside was perfect. The lake was well suited for the children, as it is not deeper than 1 meter for several hundred meters. However, as Rättvik is a transit town, the road is very busy and can be heard. The sanitary facilities on our side were okay, but nothing more. By the way, the free dishwasher was great! We will be back because the location is ideal for trips to the Dalarna horses and Björnpark in Orsa.

Very expensive, loudness outside the square
Very expensive
On the already expensive Lake Siljan, this site is in the upper range. The site is clean and comfortable. However, it quickly drains your vacation budget. The railroad line is a bit of a nuisance, but the main road passing close to the site is more annoying.

Much better than expected and described in the usual guides
The place is even better than expected and than the usual portals and guides indicate. Sanitary facilities are pleasantly clean. Large wash/shower cubicles with toilet available. We took the opportunity to wash - you get a key for the washroom and so only the two or three people who are washing have... access. If all the machines are occupied, the next ones have to wait for a free time slot. Very pleasant! The location right on the lake is very nice. The wind likes to blow in the afternoon. No mosquitoes. There is a lot to discover around the Siljan. Dog shower hot/cold!

Beautiful location directly on the Siljan and central to the village
Very nice place at the Siljan. Perfect sanitary facilities. Nice staff. Close to the village with good shopping facilities. Free choice of pitch - WLan free - but weak. Walking distance to the center of Rättvik. Visitors from "all over the world".

Really beautifully situated directly on Lake Siljan. Pitches partly under trees, partly on grass. Sanitary clean but certainly not sufficient in high season. Rättvik is easily accessible by bike or on foot.
