A terrible, crammed-full campground with no space between the RVs. If you like fire—and especially having it on your body—this is the campground for you. The other campers, the campground staff, and the emergency services I felt compelled to contact were completely uninterested in fixing the problem. One day, things are going to get really unpleasant here.

Small campsite within walking distance of the small town of Åmål. In the off-season there were hardly any guests on the site and the reception was not staffed. The check-in was done via a machine. Certainly not a place to spend a longer vacation, but wonderful for a few days - e.g. as a starting point for a hike in the Yttre Bodane nature reserve.

Caution with billing
When paying by EC card, we were mistakenly overcharged for one night (330 SEK) and debited. We complained about this the next day and were promised a refund to our account. A cash payment was not possible due to a lack of cash in the till. (Even an exchange to get 5 crowns for the showers was not possible... at the reception).
As the promised bank transfer did not arrive, we asked several times by e-mail.
Result: There were no more replies and of course no money.
It's a shame how you can ruin your reputation like that.
Apart from that, the view is of course enchanting, but it is an absolutely cramped campsite atmosphere.
Based on our experience, we will not be visiting this site again and can only give it a minimal rating.

Small square with a beautiful view
You are greeted in a friendly manner and can choose your parking space. If you arrive on time, you should definitely take a pitch in the front row. The site is not very big and fills up quickly. The pitches at the bottom are flat and parceled out, while the top is very hilly. There are also play areas for children and a bathing beach. There are also hiking trails for walking dogs.

Top location on the lake
The location on the lake is perfect. After a friendly welcome, we were able to choose a pitch. We had a pitch right by the water and didn't even need to park our camper van. The sanitary facilities were a bit dated, but clean and well maintained. There is a playground, restaurants and a beach. Price incl. electricity and shower €23/day.
