H 1.wrzesień 20261.0H 1.wrzesień 2026PozytywneNadaNegatywneA terrible, crammed-full campground with no space between the RVs. If you like fire—and especially having it on your body—this is the campground for you. The other campers, the campground staff, and the emergency services I felt compelled to contact were completely uninterested in fixing the problem. One day, things are going to get really unpleasant here.Mr.A completely useless campground. There was no order at the campground. RVs were parked 1–1.5 meters apart from each other and from our trailer, and the campground staff were kids who didn’t have a clue. Jens V.wrzesień 20254.0Jens V.wrzesień 2025PozytywneMany pitches located directly on the lake. Village within walking distance.NegatywneSanitary facilities a bit outdated, but adequate and clean.Camping directly on Lake VänernSmall campsite within walking distance of the small town of Åmål. In the off-season there were hardly any guests on the site and the reception was not staffed. The check-in was done via a machine. Certainly not a place to spend a longer vacation, but wonderful for a few days - e.g. as a starting point for a hike in the Yttre Bodane nature reserve. We complained about this the next day and were promised a refund to our account. A cash payment was not possible due to a lack of cash in the till. (Even an exchange to get 5 crowns for the showers was not possible... at the reception).
As the promised bank transfer did not arrive, we asked several times by e-mail.
Result: There were no more replies and of course no money.
It's a shame how you can ruin your reputation like that.
Apart from that, the view is of course enchanting, but it is an absolutely cramped campsite atmosphere.
Based on our experience, we will not be visiting this site again and can only give it a minimal rating.Przetłumaczone automatycznie.1 biwakowicz uznał tę ocenę za przydatną. - 4.0GRGuido R.czerwiec 20194.0GRGuido R.czerwiec 2019PozytywneBeautifully situated by the forest and lake.NegatywneNoneSmall square with a beautiful viewYou are greeted in a friendly manner and can choose your parking space. If you arrive on time, you should definitely take a pitch in the front row. The site is not very big and fills up quickly. The pitches at the bottom are flat and parceled out, while the top is very hilly. There are also play areas for children and a bathing beach. There are also hiking trails for walking dogs.

Fritz K.maj 20184.0Fritz K.maj 2018PozytywneNice quiet place with marina.NegatywneIf you don't like it, the factory next door.Top location on the lakeThe location on the lake is perfect. After a friendly welcome, we were able to choose a pitch. We had a pitch right by the water and didn't even need to park our camper van. The sanitary facilities were a bit dated, but clean and well maintained. There is a playground, restaurants and a beach. Price incl. electricity and shower €23/day. The pitches on the hill are problematic. Sanitary facilities were older but acceptable.

- 3.0SESteffen E.czerwiec 20143.0SESteffen E.czerwiec 2014PozytywneView of Lake Vännern and its islandsNegatywneNoise from various sourcesTop place, almost an insider tip, but noisyActually a very nice little place with a great view and well-kept area and sanitary facilities. Rocky bay with a little sandy beach, bathing jetties, diving platform and barbecue area. Very idyllic and a feast for the eyes. The camper pitches are perfectly flat, while it is difficult to find a usable... area on the tent hill. You have to order bread rolls by 12.00 noon, so you have to make do without them on the first morning. They are probably brought in from the capital. But why a new factory has to be set up next to such a beautiful campsite in a country with so much space is absolutely unclear. The factory emits a loud buzzing noise 24 hours a day. The Swedish air force also loves to thunder over the site at low level. That way you won't oversleep ordering bread rolls if you want to stay more than one night. Sports fans are loudly entertained by the neighboring arena. All in all: a wonderful place if you have earplugs.
- 5.0GLGunnar L.czerwiec 20125.0GLGunnar L.czerwiec 2012The campsite is located directly on the Vänern on a kind of peninsula. We had a free choice of pitches with a direct view of the lake. Pitches are quite small, so when the site is full, it can get quite crowded. Sanitary facilities: Two sanitary blocks. Both clean. Staff could be a bit friendlier.

Angela F.sierpień 20115.0Angela F.sierpień 2011Our first stop on our way to northern Sweden. A cozy campsite, a little insider tip, but also very busy. The site was full, but we were still allowed to stand on the tent hill and had a wonderful spot with a view of the lake. We felt very comfortable. You can be in town in a few minutes by bike. Swimming is wonderful! A great place!
