The ramp leading to the barrier can cause problems with oncoming traffic. It's a shame that the food comes from elsewhere and you have to place your order an hour in advance.

A warm welcome. We had a nice campsite; the couple who run the place had taken our preferences into account. The restrooms are very clean and in excellent condition.

It was a cozy, compact campground. The restrooms were clean and spacious. The sites were large and offered plenty of privacy.

It's a shame there isn't an option to get a small snack to go with your drink at the bar.

The campground is in a beautiful location, very well-maintained, and very clean. The owners are super nice. I highly recommend it.

Great campground

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect. And those magnificent trains passing back and forth in front of the campground—the kids were in awe.

A couple of the trees could do with pruning higher up and motorhomes seem to be getting bigger and taller but no real issues

An incredibly cozy campground with a charming café/bar and a lovely pool, and you can swim in the river. The sites are spacious and arranged in terraces. It’s neat and clean, and the hosts are friendly and sweet. Plus, the steam locomotive runs just 50 meters away. A train ride you shouldn’t miss.

We had a wonderful week—it was great for our grandchildren. There was a large play area for the kids, and we really enjoyed the pool during this heat wave.
