The boat traffic is more relaxing than disturbing, and you know beforehand that the Rhine is a busy shipping lane. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but clean. There is a restaurant on... site. From Rhens you can make wonderful MTB tours/hikes in all directions. We have been coming back to this campsite for extended weekends for several years now and have fallen in love with the area. Rhens is a cozy, ancient town/village, Boppard can be reached by bike in 30 minutes, Koblenz as well....
