The peace and quiet and the friendliness of the staff are particularly noteworthy, both of which scored 4 out of 5. The location, pitch and infrastructure are also very good and contribute to a pleasant overall impression.
The sanitary facilities... and their cleanliness were solid (3/5) due to a few broken items, as was the general cleanliness and the price-performance ratio. There is a good range of leisure activities (5/5), so you can definitely find variety here. The food is okay, but could be a bit more varied or better organized (3/5).
The campsite is particularly suitable for families with children - whether under 6, 12 or 18 (3/5 in each case). However, it is less recommendable for youth groups (2/5). On the other hand, it is very suitable for couples (4/5).
A small minus point is that the campsite is not particularly dog-friendly - improvements could be made here.

Adventure pool far too expensive for what is on offer.Far too expensive for what the space offersThe campsite is located at the entrance to Henne Strand, which offers a sufficient number of stores and restaurants and the walk to the beach is not particularly long. However, the place has no charm; it is practically laid out more like an older shopping mall.
The campsite itself has no view of the... sea and no other appealing panorama. In addition, the operators rely on the most complete self-service possible, which guests should ideally handle independently via an app, including check-in and check-out. No welcome on arrival with information on excursion destinations etc., as is the case with many other campsites, especially in the high-price segment, which includes the Hennestrandresort. Our pitch itself was very good (luxury category) but that was about it. You can only swim at the campsite if you book the activity package per person for a considerable extra charge and the "adventure pool" was not worth it. The hygiene on the site could also be improved, especially in the sanitary buildings and the smelly, overflowing garbage dump.

The most beautiful place on the North Sea 😊.NegatywneThat the actual campsite is also used as a pitch for caravans and motorhomes. The caravan was right next to our tent. Reservation was quite expensive at €30, but we got the pitch we wanted.Tent weekendWe like the site because it is close to the village and the whole beach is particularly beautiful. The service building in the center is equipped with nice showers and mostly clean toilets. The kitchen area is also nice, unfortunately equipped with only 3 tables, which meant that we never got a seat... during our stay because campers with large caravans took up the tables to prepare meals. Very annoying if you can only arrive with a tent and without a chair and table. We then used the barbecue area for cooking and eating, unfortunately partly with storm and rain...so please create more space or find another arrangement...unfortunately all the toilets were blocked on the day of departure...It was good that we visited family in the vacation home, also to use the toilet there. Dogs and their owners: every hedge and every free pitch is used as a dog toilet. Small children can no longer be allowed to play on the pitch. Or a dog jumps at you, which is dismissed by the owner with the words, it won't do anything. Please set limits for these dog owners. At check-in, you are greeted by super friendly staff and feel like you've "arrived".
You are quickly and competently... given everything you need to know about the site and the facilities (swimming pool with slide, whirlpool, sauna, wellness facilities) as well as the pitch map. Then you go through the barrier to the pitch. (You need a card for each entrance and exit).

On request, a quiet pitch was booked for us. On arrival - pitch directly on the road; two-sided, on the long side still an access road to the vacation homes. A hustle and bustle... .... Alternative on tent pitch - didn't work either.
Wash house downstairs medium standard - two showers. Family bathroom available - we didn't want to block it. Upper wash house better; you can have a look at the beautiful tiles in the afternoon from the number of units.
Chemical toilet blocked in the morning - no flushing. There were probably several campers in need.
Far too few washing-up facilities - very cozy. The men were then sent home.
Place - well. Not available. A row of stores with tourist stalls. One morning, my wife was able to visit 7 boutiques. There was something, but everything was totally overpriced. Two scoops of ice cream cost around EUR 10.00. I recommend the next town, Nebel.
Cycle paths along busy roads or on gravel tracks. Tractor tracks. A nice path went to Vejers Strand. Asphalt - nibbled and rubber surface, but still. Like so many stretches of beach, the beach is great and cars can drive right up to the beach. But - indeed. Sewage was discharged over the beach via a canal. A red-brown sauce collected in holes in the beach. The last time I saw something like this was in the eighties in southern climes.
There is also something positive - the wellness area with swimming pool and sauna. According to my wife, I'm not much of a lifeguard.
Oh well - you shouldn't leave garbage in the garbage cans on the campsite at night. Some animals regularly scatter the garbage all over the site. It's not good for your back to collect it all again in the morning.
No, I don't understand the very good reviews.
