Highly Recommended
We spent 8 days at the campground. We really enjoyed it. The restrooms were always clean, and it’s a beautiful spot. It does get very crowded during school breaks, though—but that’s not a downside for us, since we don’t travel during school breaks 😂
The lake is a bit colder—it’s fed by the Lech River, after all.
From what I saw, there are plenty of activities for kids during school breaks.
We’ll definitely be back 🥰

Beautiful days by the lake with my dog

Neat campground

Beautiful
It was really nice, though it would be great to have a screen between the dog run and the campsite.

Very satisfied
We were traveling by bus with our tent and dog. Our campsite was centrally located, so it was just a short walk to the restaurant with its beer garden and restrooms, etc. Everything was very clean, and the food was excellent.
The trails for walking the dog were also within easy reach and were in the woods, which was great in the heat. The dog swimming area is less than 5 minutes away.
We were very satisfied with everything.

We really enjoyed our stay at Via Claudia Camping. We were warmly welcomed; the campground is great—the restrooms, the beach, the restaurant, the snack bar... everything was top-notch! The service was excellent all around, and we felt very comfortable there. Especially if you have a dog, you’ll find everything your dog needs to feel at home, including a dog-friendly beach section, an off-leash area, and a dog shower.

Time and again
It was our first time at the campground.
We didn’t like the site we’d booked for various reasons. The super-friendly reception staff helped us right away, and we were able to move to a nice site immediately.

Simply the BEST
We spent a wonderful week at the campground and are so glad it’s only about an hour’s drive from Augsburg—because this definitely won’t be our last visit. We felt so at home—we had a great spot overlooking the lake, it was quiet despite the many vacationers, and the restrooms were absolutely top-notch,... as was the dishwashing area, especially considering the size of the campground.
They’ve thought of everything—even if you’re just there with a small tent, you’ll find a tent kitchen with all the utensils you need, plus a lovely outdoor seating area. The restaurant also invites you to linger in the beautiful beer garden with its lovely flowers.
We recommend this campground 100%—the value for money is absolutely great, and everything is hassle-free from arrival to departure. Have a wonderful vacation, everyone, and see you soon.....

I'd love to do it again...
This was our first time at this campground, and we felt very comfortable there in every way.
The restrooms were always very clean (no matter what time of day). Our site was in a great, central location.
The only minor issue was the lack of shopping options.

Top Spot
We were at the Womo campground, and since we wanted to go stand-up paddleboarding, we were able to easily secure a spot at the campground. We even had to move three times (the spots weren’t entirely available since some were reserved).We were right on the lake. Everything went smoothly, thanks to the friendly staff at the front desk. There should be more dog-free areas; the restrooms were spotlessly clean, the restaurant was very well organized, and the food was delicious.

Great campsite!
We really likes the campsite! It has great sanitary facilities. We had a lot of rain so it was nice to do the dishes indoors where it was warm and dry. Enough showers and toilets.

We had a good view of the lake and the pitch was a reasonable size for our tent and our car. It was a great base to see... the Alpes. Some of the staff spoke English so if you couldn't manage in German, English was not a problem. Enough to do for kids and they had a whole area for sports. You could order bread through a terminal at the reception or online which was great. So if you were out all day you could still order bread!

We'd love to come back
A really lovely campground with everything you need. The online check-in is great. We were there with our 7-month-old baby, and even though it rained most of the time, we had a wonderful vacation. A good place with room for improvement
The campground is ideal, especially for vacations with children, since there are plenty of play areas right on the grounds. The restroom facilities are clean and pleasant. Unfortunately, I can’t give it five stars because, just as during my stay two years ago, many dog owners let their dogs relieve themselves... on the grounds and seem to consider this normal. But even though the waste is usually cleaned up, some remains are left behind, resulting in unpleasant odors. The fact that children run around or play in these droppings is also simply accepted by the dog owners in question.
