Positive ting
Very nice operators and staff, great atmosphere with live music, beautiful clear lake for swimming and paddling, clean and heated showers, good supply and disposal, nice playground and table tennis table, relaxed atmosphere. We also got two welcome drinks via the camping app as a fan club benefit, which worked really well and made us really happy.

Beautiful campsite and great atmosphere
We've been there twice now and will definitely be back. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and warm atmosphere. The whole team is super friendly and you feel immediately welcome. The live music with Holy on Saturday evening was a real highlight and created a really good atmosphere. The site... offers everything you need and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere at the same time. The fact that we were even the first to enjoy the welcome drinks via the app was also a really nice extra. An absolute recommendation!

nothing special
Negative ting
the plot layout and equipment
okay for a quick wake-up call
We were for an extended weekend on the place, the reception so far everything okay (but what bothered me was that you have to pay the whole price in advance (I only found out later on site)
The plots are very different in size some are "huge" the opposite in relation "tiny"
Sanitary facilities are clean... but very!!!!!!!!!!!!! cramped, when brushing your teeth you already get the door of the toilet in your back or there is so much stuff in the toilet that you hardly have room to wipe your ..........
Conclusion for us once is enough, sorry

We stayed at this wonderful campsite as a couple at the end of September. Very friendly welcome, very well-kept site. The sanitary facilities are clean, wonderful hot showers 😊. There is a restaurant nearby with good home cooking.
Negative ting
Nothing
Beautiful campsite right on the lake
If you're looking for a small, beautifully located campsite without a lot of frills, this is the place for you. The sanitary facilities are clean and the showers are hot. The price (Acsi) for 1 night for 2 people with motorhome, electricity is absolutely fine.

Positive ting
The proximity to the water is nice. Nice to take photos. The receptionist was very, very friendly and gave me great directions as a "first-time camper".
Negative ting
It wasn't just my plot that was very uneven; it could be straightened out a bit with little effort. Even on the highest level of the drive-on wedges, I wasn't standing straight on pitch 47. Still possible, it's not the end of the world. I found it more serious: with my 25 meter cable I could reach one of 3 available power columns. Unfortunately, all the connections were occupied. It was too far to the next column for my cable length of 25 meters. Fact: There are too few power sockets available.
4 stars is fair. Fine place.
It was my first camping night :-D It was my premiere, I wanted to see what I was missing, what I still had to buy that I had never thought of, etc.

In the disadvantages I mentioned that I couldn't even reach my destination with the 25m cable. I could accept that if I paid 6 euros a night. But since... the price here is significantly higher, I expect that this has been invested in the infrastructure. But it wasn't. I found that totally stupid. Thanks to the solar system, I would have managed just as well without cables, but I wanted to try everything out on day 1 of my camping trip.

I was on pitch 47, which is quite bumpy. If someone had driven their excavator in circles twice before the opening, it would have been nicer. So it could definitely be better.

The toilets and showers were spotless, so praise for that.

However, 1 motorhome and 2 people were also 36 or 38 euros, which I personally find quite steep if the infrastructure doesn't fit. Would I go there again? Yes of course, I had a great time. But now I know where the electricity columns are, I won't be booking in at 47 again :-D

Good site, very clean, great sanitary facilities, price...okay.

Positive ting
The allocated pitch was large and had electricity. The lake is amazing, clear water, but quite cool. And the peace and quiet... Simply ideal for "taking it easy". The sanitary facilities were always clean. The team there is super friendly and competent.
Negative ting
We didn't dislike anything, but see room for improvement. The sanitary area could be a bit bigger, as it can be quite cramped at times. Drinking water connections at the pitches would be great, perhaps combined with gray water drainage, but we know that the site is still very new. Ah... One more thing: we were missing an organic waste garbage can. Paper, ash, used glass, plastics and residual waste are available.
We felt really comfortable
Great, quiet place by the lake. Good atmosphere and great team.
You won't starve or die of thirst there either, as the beach bar offers small treats and drinks.
The surrounding area invites you to go on tours...

Unfortunately only one night
We were thrilled right from the start. Called, about 2 hours to go, reserved a place. Arrived, checked in, went to the discount store because of the rush and then moved into our pitch. Took a short coffee break, wandered around the site and checked out the beach. A quick pizza at the beach bar, a change... of clothes and off we went for a swim. The beach is not particularly large but it is clean and, not unimportantly, supervised by lifeguards. The sanitary facilities are adequate for a campsite, but certainly not enough when fully booked. But it must also be mentioned that everything is there, toilet, shower, sink, washing machine, waste disposal, chemical toilet, etc. And in the evening you can also enjoy a delicious meal at "Strandgut 33" or, in our case, at "Treff am See". Early in the morning, you can get the bread rolls you ordered the day before at the beach bar. Despite only spending one night here, we felt very much at home and wish the owner and his staff all the best and stay as we got to know you. And remember, camper van drivers say hello to each other.

Beautiful campsite close to Erfurt
We finally wanted to visit Erfurt. We found a site almost in Erfurt here at Camping Info and found Thürkies-Camping.
A lovely site on a beautiful lake with a bathing area, of course.
The site is on grass and you don't need any more. So we don't always understand why you have to put down a carpet on an... intact lawn! But that's just a side note.
There is a small beach bar where you can sit in the evening with a view of the lake. There is also a playground.
One small point of criticism, two more sanitary containers would be nice. Everything was clean and there were actually enough of them. BUT, if I want to wash myself and I get the door of the toilet cubicle in my back, that's stupid. And toilet noises from strangers while brushing my teeth is not great either. So take the washbasin out and put it in an extra container and then everything would be great.
Otherwise you can cycle to Erfurt on cycle paths. And the surrounding area also has one or two things worth seeing.

Camper group meeting from 30.04. - 06.05.2024
Very nice, quiet natural campsite and very, very nice staff. This applies to the entire campsite staff. As we are often on the road, we really noticed this friendly manner. For this reason alone, we will be very happy to come back. I ordered a pizza at the snack bar on the pitch, which was even brought to my caravan. Many, many thanks and keep up the good work !!! Place number 1, 2, and 47 say THANK YOU.......We really enjoyed our 6 nights over Easter with you again. You went to a lot of trouble with us again. And thank you again for the rental belts for our awning during the storm and the spontaneous release of the gas bottle at night. The sanitary facilities were always spotless despite full occupancy over Easter. The Easter fire with live music was once again the highlight. See you soon.

Positive ting
The site is fantastic! On arrival I was immediately overwhelmed by the color of the lake! I was there for three days and managed to get a pitch without booking in advance, even though it was full. They try very hard and make everything possible! Everything was clean and beautifully designed. There was also a wide range of leisure activities on offer. Erfurt is easily accessible by bike on relatively flat roads (approx. 12 km). I felt at home straight away and will definitely be back!
Negative ting
No kiosk or small supermarket in the immediate vicinity where you can quickly buy something.
See fans will find their happiness here

Nice reception. Beautiful pitches. Nice location.
Negative ting
Don't forget a mosquito net and spray!
Nice small, simple campsite. Any time again.
Nice little "pop-up" campsite. Reception and sanitary facilities are containers but nicely clad in wood or painted. It's simple but everything you need is there. One or two hooks or shelves in the showers wouldn't be bad. Beautiful pitches, small beach for swimming in the wonderful lake. Beach bar with... bockwurst, fish sandwiches and tarte flambée to eat. Otherwise two restaurants 5 to 8 minutes on foot, one with a terrace on the shore next to it. Netto market less than 5 minutes away by car. Everything is simple but really nice, lots of campers from the surrounding area, also with tents. Very friendly. No permanent campers. Cycle paths all around and only a few kilometers from Erfurt. Lively during the day, especially at weekends, as many day visitors also come to swim, but in the evening it is comfortably quiet.

Positive ting
- small, quiet, uncomplicated - free showers
Negative ting
- Tiny, dilapidated playground - only partially or not at all suitable for children under 6 years of age
Cute, small campsite with limited facilities
We spent several days here because we didn't want to go too far from home, the husband wanted to go fishing and the kids (3,6) wanted to swim at the lake. A good to very good rating of the sanitary facilities was important to me.
So we ended up at ThürKies Camping. It's a tiny campsite with a tent... meadow and caravan pitches. The tent meadow is surrounded by a gravel road, which can be quite noisy if you are sleeping but someone drives past in a car. Otherwise it was very quiet, even a group of teenagers who were placed next to us were pleasant neighbors.
The beach area is very manageable in size and the swan poop is removed if you let the campsite management know.
Overall a cute little campsite, but only suitable to a limited extent for longer stays and small children. Our children lacked variety, opportunities for activity and other children - the campsite could not provide this due to its location and size. However, the playground could really do with an upgrade.

beautiful location directly on the lake beautiful natural grounds very friendly and helpful operator
Negative ting
Restaurant across the street stops serving food at 19:15, although it is open until 20:00 on Sunday. Otherwise no disadvantages
Great and special place
We stayed here for three nights in the first few days of October. It was not very busy at that time. We felt very comfortable on the pitch despite the bad weather. With the very nice operator, everything could be organized easily by mobile phone if necessary.
The sanitary facilities were super clean... at all times. The site has its charm due to its location on the lake and the deliberately simple design.
We would gladly come back here again if the opportunity arises.
