Had visited the Störtebeker games on 18.07.2025. According to information from the very nice operator, we took the bus. Good choice. Stops right on the square. Return journey at 11 pm. Everything worked out great. Unfortunately we had a few mosquitoes on the pitch.... But here too we were well provided with mosquito repellent (with very professional advice). Thank you. Cycling is a hit here. It goes up and down a lot by bike.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. The dam that separates the large from the small Jasmund Bodden also has a train station, from which you can get to the island by train every hour, is within easy walking distance.
The staff were absolutely... friendly and helpful, and the sanitary facilities were also very clean and well maintained. The site is surrounded by a dense forest, which also absorbs most of the noise from the nearby road. A small restaurant for breakfast guests also offers a bread roll service for campers. There are lots of information boards with interesting facts.

We will take this as an opportunity to improve. Of course, a more positive rating would be better for us.
However, it is important for us that our guests express their personal impressions and that we can react accordingly. Of course, not all guests see things in... the same light and so every review is valuable to us.
We hope that we can perhaps make you more satisfied on your next visit.
With kind regards

Katharina G.juni 20202.0Katharina G.juni 2020Positive ting* well-kept facility * friendly owners * privacy thanks to hedges, therefore some privacy * quiet area * bread roll service * site itself large enough (we had a tent)Negative ting* Unfriendly cleaning staff, always received a snotty answer immediately * Cleaning times between 9.30 am and 11 am completely wrong. Just when you want to get going and clean your dishes, you have to be cleaned * Shower times from 4pm to 8pm also incomprehensible, especially as men could still shower with very hot water in the evening. Women only had cold water * Small kiosk was missing, we know much better campsites that offer more *Location ok but you have to cycle a lot to get to the spots --> Overall lacked that certain something, was ok but definitely not worth coming againSimple and clearBasically, the stay was fine, but we have experienced much better campsites in recent years. Everything else can be found in the pros and consAutomatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Störtebeker-Camp 23. april 2024Hello Mrs. G.
Thank you for your review which we would like to comment on even after such a long time.
It should not be the case that our cleaning staff are not always friendly. But we also employ people in this area. There are ups and downs just like with our guests.
Perhaps understandable in the current... situation with Corona conditions, but of course not right and good.
As far as cleaning times are concerned, it can simply be said that, then as now, they do not always come at the right time for the guest. We strive to keep this reduction in the feel-good factor as low as possible.
In conclusion, once again. Sorry for the possibly inappropriate tone and for the restrictions on your vacation.

The bread rolls were not fully baked. There is a main road to the beach, but you can hardly hear it at night. I liked the all-inclusive billing and the prepayment, so it was possible to leave spontaneously without waiting. However, there are better places for a campsite vacation.Automatisk oversatt.Besvart fra Störtebeker-Camp 15. desember 2017Hello from the island of Rügen from Lietzow.
Thank you for your review. Of course we regret about the bread rolls. Fortunately, our bread rolls are normally already baked.
You are of course right when you say that there are better places for a vacation on a campsite. However, there is hardly a campsite on our island that is more conveniently located than ours and still offers peace and nature.
Yours sincerely

Melanie L.juni 20164.0Melanie L.juni 2016Positive ting- Proximity to the Bodden - Peace and quietNegative tingCatering only in the form of the restaurantBeautifully situated campsiteThe access road is quite steep uphill, but manageable. The restaurant employee is also responsible for the reception, so there was a short traffic jam at check-in. Nice welcome and free choice of pitches on the small and quiet campsite, which is divided by hedges. The road is a bit narrow and a dead... end, so you are lucky if there is no oncoming traffic when arriving or departing. The sanitary facilities were always clean (3 showers, 1 wash cubicle and 3 WCs in the ladies' area; could be a bit cramped when fully occupied for approx. 40 pitches and 20 tent pitches). The price (early June) for 2 adults with camper van incl. electricity + showers is ok at 24 euros. The nearest beach on the Jasmund Bodden is only 500 m away.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 5.0
Axel F.mai 20165.0Axel F.mai 2016Positive tingWell-kept facility, beautiful pitches, central location on the island, short distance to Ralswiek, good for dog ownersNegative tingnoneNice campsite centrally located and ideal proximity to RalswiekWhile looking for a campsite to visit the Rock Legends concert in Ralswiek, we came across this site. The location is ideal for excursions as it is in the middle of Rügen, especially for visiting the open-air stage. It took us about 25 minutes by bike on a beautiful cycle path. Pitches are parceled out... and some are even close to the edge of the forest. Sanitary was always well maintained. Reception was very friendly and delicious bread rolls were available from 07:30 a.m. All in all, a great short break that we will definitely be returning to in September!Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 4.0ARArmin R.september 20154.0ARArmin R.september 2015Positive ting-Central location -good price/performance ratio -parceled parking spacesNegative tingSanitary facilities too smallCentrally located on Rügen and easy to reachThe campsite is very centrally located on Rügen. Lietzow train station and the bus stop are within walking distance of the campsite, so you don't necessarily have to use your own vehicle. The price/performance ratio is very good and the costs are clear thanks to the all-inclusive price. The restaurant... belonging to the campsite also offers food and drinks at fair prices. You can also order bread rolls in advance for breakfast. One drawback, however, is the very early closing time of the kitchen and the early closing time. The pitches are parceled out and separated by hedges, each with its own electricity and drinking water connection. The biggest drawback of the site is the sanitary facilities. They are undersized for the size of the pitch and therefore appear unclean, especially after the morning rush hour. The staff were friendly and helpful, but sometimes had gaps in their knowledge about the type of electricity connection. All in all, a recommendable campsite with no frills. Ideal for exploring the island of Rügen and for excursions to Stralsund or Hiddensee, for example.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!

When we registered we were given a price list and we were surprised that a site of this size and infrastructure charges such a price for the high season - this seems to be related to the nearby open-air theater. In the off season... the price is ok. The staff was always friendly towards us. The food in the restaurant is simple but completely ok. However, we would have liked the sanitary facilities to be cleaned more often, as there were long black hairs stuck to the shower partition in the ladies' shower for the entire duration of our stay. In our opinion, there were enough showers and toilets for the size of the pitch. On the whole, we found the place ok for people who want to explore the island, as the location is great.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
