There are several lakes that you can explore on foot or by bike, and everything is really beautiful here, perhaps typical of Styria. The reception on site was extremely friendly, everything was explained, bike maps and information material were handed out, the operator couple is very hard-working and completely stress-free at work, they spread a really good mood. You can see that they enjoy... it themselves.
The pitches are generously sized and fairly level, with electricity connections within easy reach.
The sanitary area is always clean and well-maintained, but at "peak times" perhaps one or two more toilets and showers would be nice. (but that's complaining on a high level)
Pastry service works wonderfully, very large selection.
An (e)-bike is very useful to get down to the village for shopping or to the restaurant.
The place is pleasantly quiet (no dogs barking) and hardly any street noise.
Like us, most visitors came for mountain biking or hiking, the Salzkammergut offers everything your heart desires.

Pitches offer you a lot of space as well as the usual hook ups. Short walk up the road to a lake, staff were very welcoming and told us where everything... was as well as being patient with the fact we didn't speak German! Showers and toilets were spotless and very nice compared to some other places we stayed.
