A Relaxing Week at the Lake
The campground is located near Rosenheim on Lake Erlensee. It’s very easy to get to by car. Within walking distance, there’s a bakery, an Edeka supermarket, a Sparkasse bank, and the train station isn’t far either.
Reservations and check-in went smoothly and the staff was very friendly.
We arrived as... a family of five and set up our XXL tent on a comfort site for a week. The site had water and electricity.
The kids loved visiting the playground, and the lake was great for splashing around and swimming.
Another really important point: the restrooms, the dishwashing area, and the laundry facilities are very clean! There are even washing machines available if needed.
We rounded off the evening with a short walk around the lake.

A beautifully situated and clean campground on Lake Erlensee. Swimming available right on the campground grounds. Bicycle excursions on well- maintained bike paths. A quaint restaurant right on the campground grounds.
Negative ting
You have to finish showering within four minutes; otherwise, you’ll be charged an additional 50 cents. Unfortunately, the timer keeps running even after you turn off the water. To get to the bakery or Edeka, you have to cross the main road. It’s not without its dangers.

We felt right at home at the campground and really enjoyed our stay.

Camping by the Lake
The ladies at the front desk were very helpful before we made our reservation. Thanks again for that! The campground is right on Lake Erlensee. The water was extremely warm at 28 degrees (no surprise given the heat). It’s a great spot for swimming and stand-up paddleboarding. We had a “Comfort” site,... which was plenty big. Showers cost 50 cents for 4 minutes. It’s a bit of a challenge with long hair, but doable. There are 3 showers in the women’s area, which is a bit few given the number of campers, but I never had to wait. The restrooms were clean. The bike path runs right next to the campground. Unfortunately, the main road also runs right by, and you can hear it a bit. There’s a bakery across the street and an Edeka grocery store in town.
Unfortunately, there are also some unpleasant things to mention (though the campground isn’t to blame for these): Yes, it was veeeery hot, but does that mean you have to run the air conditioner 24 hours a day? (The unit was hanging outside the window.) It was extremely loud, especially at night. Unbelievable! It filled the whole campground with noise. Right next to us, too: the air conditioner was roaring, and on top of that, the windows and skylights were open. (Didn’t they get the point of having an air conditioner??) And the campers were sitting in front of their vehicle....
There were several “alternative” campers there (with dreadlocks and several children): These children are being raised in an anti-authoritarian way, which means they’re allowed to scream and play soccer in front of other people’s vehicles. And, of course, nobody says hello. Dear campers: You’re supposed to greet each other and be considerate!

But the absolute height of rudeness was the restaurant manager: Food and drinks are served until 8:30 p.m. We had eaten and ordered something to drink at 8:15 p.m. At 8:45 p.m., she said, “Leave now, we’re closing.” My glass was still half full. Two minutes later: “Now hurry up and finish up!” In a rude tone! An absolute disgrace! That’s no way to treat your guests. You could have phrased it differently—or I’d close up later so the guests could finish their drinks in peace. I’ve never experienced anything like this before!

A lovely little campground
We were only there for one night. The campground is very clean, as are the restrooms. One advantage right off the campground is the bike path to Rosenheim—about 9 km—which is well-marked. We had a site that was very level and also nice and big for our RV. The owner was very friendly.

It’s a really nice campground, but unfortunately it rained for three days straight.
Everyone is super friendly, and the restrooms were very clean. But it’s just a short walk to the train station, and from there you can travel in any direction.
There is one drawback, though: crossing the main road is extremely dangerous for small children and the elderly.

Great place and beautiful lake
I had the privilege of having the pitch right at the front of the lake. The peace and quiet and the view of the lake were priceless. There is a beaver lodge in the middle of the lake and I sometimes saw the beavers. There is a great big restaurant with a beer garden right next to the site and you can... also eat across the lane, the sanitary facilities were very clean. I arrived late in the evening when the reception was already closed. However, checking in was no problem following instructions by email. The check-in took place the next day for the shower you need 0.50 € and this is enough for 4 minutes. I would gladly come back.

Very nice and quiet campsite
Along the Inn you can take beautiful bike tours to Wasserburg, Rosenheim and Bad Aibling. The entire cycle paths are very tidy and clean.
