Nature camping with a wonderful view
We reached this wonderful place via narrow and steep roads. The sanitary facilities are simple and well maintained. The store is very small - shopping in Chorges or Embrun, bread can be ordered.
The peace and quiet and the view over the valley and Lac Serre-Ponçon are fantastic. When it's hot in the... valley, it stays cool at the campsite, there's always a breeze.
Be careful, the friendly restaurant up by the lake only serves lunch to order. A dip in the lake is highly recommended.
Fantastic hikes and bike tours in the surrounding area - bike park in Réallon-Station.

There are several cabannes with sensational views over the valley.
When the site and the cabins are full, the sanitary block is too small - avoid peak season.
Unfortunately, on some days families with several children showered for a very long time, for the other campers there was only cold water. Especially in summer - please use water sparingly!
Be careful, the little road from St. Appolinaire is quite narrow - crossing with a trailer or large camper is difficult.

Unrelated to the campsite, the road is not great, but that's how it is in the whole department. Mobilhome not too level.
A beautiful corner of France
We had a pleasant stay in a clean mobile home in good condition, there's not much missing. It's a quiet campsite, don't expect any entertainment here, it's restful and peaceful. A great welcome from a new manager. Superb walks at the foot of the campsite. Don't forget anything the stores are far away... but that's camping too. The Lac de Saint Apollinaire, a stone's throw from the campsite, is ideal for families and replaces the swimming pool if you're not afraid of cold water.
