Beautiful location
The campground is beautifully situated in the woods by a stream. Monschau is easily accessible via a hiking trail. However, the signage leaves something to be desired. The main road runs right past the campground, and it can get very noisy at times when trucks are passing by. Booking and check-in are... straightforward. Thanks to license plate recognition, you simply drive to your reserved spot and then let the front desk know you’ve arrived. The campground owner is actually quite nice. The campground itself is run-down and unkempt. The restrooms are ancient, not clean, the trash cans are overflowing, and there are far too few of them for a campground this size. If you’re staying on the tent field, it’s a bit of a hike to the restrooms. There are also only three sinks available. The lighting at the campground is also insufficient, especially since the stairs and the path leading there are very bumpy. You can pre-order bread rolls at the shop/reception desk, except on Mondays—there aren’t any then. Plus, the bread rolls are completely overpriced. You can order pizza and take it to go, but that’s a matter of taste. We didn’t like it. We can only recommend this campground with reservations, and if so, then for a maximum of 1–2 nights.

Oase de nature
A quiet campsite on the banks of a river where you can relax and feel right at home, with beautiful walks through the forest starting directly from the campsite. Monschau is an absolutely beautiful little medieval tourist town. The campsite managers are friendly and attentive. We lack nothing. Small... shop with everything you need or even if you don't really need it 😂 coffee service and rolls / croissants, good pizza in the evening and cold beers at the RV. We were there with our roof tent and our dog and I can only recommend this campsite.... already sure I'd go back 😍

Very close to nature and quiet, great location, prices ok, bread service, pizza in the evening, free showers.

Quite dark at night, paper towel garbage can overflowing, pitches could be a bit bigger.
In the middle of nature
This campsite is a bit cramped, but the location in the small valley is fantastic. Monschau is 10 minutes away by bike, but there is also a hiking trail. The prices and facilities are reasonable. The access road is a bit steep, but should be doable with any car or motorhome. I only took the car for a spin beforehand, because starting the cold engine, hanging 1600 kg on it and then driving up the slope is not healthy for any machine.

Great location, nice atmosphere, lots of charm. Many different areas (meadow, parceled out pitches, accommodation). Friendly and committed operators, good catering offer. Nice walk into the old town.

Favorite place in the Eifel
We have already been to the site several times this year. We like the differently designed areas, so that every camper can find what they are looking for. The sanitary facilities are older, but sufficient, functional and always clean.
What we like best is the overall ambience, the site has a lot of charm and the operators have a good touch. There was live music and a barbecue one evening, which was very nice.

A super campsite
We spontaneously booked 4 days in the last week of the Easter vacation.
What can I say, we were really thrilled.
The site has a fantastic location right next to a stream, which also runs through it.
The pitches are beautifully laid out and divided into different sizes and areas, so there is something... for every caravan or tent.
We always found the sanitary facilities to be very clean.
A great atmosphere among the campers. Everyone is friendly and considerate.
You can get everything you need for camping at the reception.
The pizzas on offer in the evening are also to be recommended.
For our children, the campsite and the surrounding area were an adventure playground.
The owners of the campsite were super friendly and always up for a nice chat.
We will be back in the summer and are already looking forward to seeing you again.

Very nicely designed place directly on the stream with very nice operators
We stayed in the Pipo-Wagen for one night. We found the price-performance ratio of 50 euros more than reasonable for this original accommodation, right by the stream with a super starry sky provided by St. Peter. The operators are very friendly and attentive, the whole place and the communal areas are... designed with great attention to detail and it is very quiet, no loud music or bawling.
The breakfast we booked was very good and there was even a champagne on the house for our wedding anniversary... We would love to come back again

Beautiful hiking trails.

No satellite reception. No internet at 22.00. No shopping facilities nearby. Absolutely no lighting on the pitch at night.
Very expensive. Disappointing for the price
Very unkempt and outdated sanitary facilities.
The room for the chemical toilet was very unkempt.....
The pitches are a bit unkempt, lots of nettles by the stream.
Only English was spoken at reception when registering.

Nice and quiet, you can walk to Monschau, where it is wonderfully touristic and typically German. Pitches are right on the flowing stream.
