The campsite, which is mainly designed for the winter season, is also worth a visit in summer. Attention! I A country festival is held there every year on the 2nd weekend in August. The campsite is said to be fully booked then. The ground is partly gravel, but there are plenty of grass pitches. The sanitary... facilities are well maintained and clean, use of the sauna is free. The reception was extremely friendly, very good service and there is always a smile. New building with reception and good restaurant. Small swimming lake for children. In the village "Vemdalen", about 2 km away, there are shopping facilities (e.g. ICA nära, fishing and outdoor store), a small bakery (with fabulously delicious bread) and tourist information. Great starting point for excursions and trekking tours in the neighboring fell area or "Sonfjället National Park". Fishing opportunities in rivers and lakes in the area. Definitely not the last time we were there.
